82 foot 160 mtr dipole Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have a small city lot and needed a short 160 meter dipole. Hypower antenna co. had a perfect antenna to fit my space. The antenna is only 82 feet long with an obvious smaller 2/1 swr bandwidth than a full size. I have worked out to a 1000 miles and more with a 100 watt station only. The antenna is of a very husky construction and made very nicely. The main reason I gave Hypower a 5 is Barry the owner. He is very customer service oriented, answers my E-mails in a very short time and is very knowledgeable and helpful. I dont think you can buy dipoles of this quality for the price from anyone else. Give him a
try he has a nice bunch of antennas to fit the
suburban antenna farm.

A Very Good Value Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
First commercial wire antenna I ever bought ... took some flak from some "friends" for buying a wire antenna, but this is truy a good deal. I purchased the 160/80/40 loaded dipole. It's the same length as a normal 80m dipole, so it fits the back yard just fine. Very beefy construction. Cut long for the low end of the bands. Easy to adjust for the portions of the bands that I use.

Up until now I had been using an inverted L fed with twin lead against a ground plane. Good antenna, but requires an external tuner all of the time. The loaded dipole is just easier to use, and I can notice no difference in signal quality from previous dipoles or the inverted L. Takes full legal no problem.

Could I have built one for less money ... maybe. But it would have taken too much time, which is at a premium for me.

High quality product, and the owner of the company is quick with his e-mails and delivery. He is an honest fella providing a decent product for amateurs.

Cheers,
Herb

GREAT Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
160/80/40 dipole in about 83'. No lossy caps. Well made and easy up. Cut for lower end of 160/80 and pretty much right on the money. Quality workmanship and materials.

Good, Solid Antenna Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Needed a good, well made dipole for 10,15 and 20m for the SV9 QTH. The Hy-Power Antenna Company TRI-1020 filled the bill.
Construction is solid. The three dipoles hang under one another, just like the text-book shows. No ATU needed, plug into the rig and away you go.
SWR down the CW ends of the bands is excellent.
Nabbed D68C on 10m with 20 watts - no problem!
