built to last forever Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought mine from DX Engineering, since Bushcomm is an Australian company.
The antenna comes in a 5" box delivered by FedEx.

Once I opened the box, I know it was a professional antenna. Super high quality materials.
The antenna is built to last forever and widely used by military. Also, it's nearly ready to be installed, once you take it out of the box.
You must choose the install configuration (inverted V or horizontal); For inverted V you need to attach the balun suspender.
Resistors are heavy duty ones, and super coated with some kind of UV protective resin.
I chose horizontal configuration, once I have two 55 ft poles on my lot.
The antenna is much more quieter compared with a dipole.
Performance at 3,5 MHz is regular, but the magic starts once you go 7 MHz and up.
VSWR runs in 1.6 up to 1.8 range. Except at 3.6 MHz where it reaches 2.1.
Above (and including 7 MHz) there are some gain.
For data TX, I used an ACOM 2000P limited at 700W sending a fax image during 14 min. No change to VSWR value. I was afraid that VSWR could goes high once resistors are temeprature dependent.
The antenna is height dependent. the lower you install, more VSWR you will have on lower frequencies.
If you need a broadband antenna to handle more than 1.500W PEP or 1KW for data, this is the one that will lasts forever.
If you have a big lot, please consider the BBA1 KDE, the extended version, that goes down to 1,8 MHz.
The BBA 1KD worth every dollar paid.
