I used N6BT's manual tune Bravo-7 with up to 1.0 KW for several years, and was pretty happy with it. I thought the 7KR would be an improvement because of its remote band switching capability.

I setup the 7KR with bias Tee units purchased from Array Solutions, and was all set to enjoy more convenient band switching among three of my favorite bands.

I fine tuned the element lengths and the coils in the matching box using an antenna analyzer, then used 100 watts from my transceiver, achieving a satisfactory SWR on all three bands. Then I started operating using the Ten Tec Centurion amplifier. On 20m (where all the coils except the hairpin match are bypassed), I used up to 1.0 KW, and on 30m I applied up to 200 watts. The antenna performed beautifully on those bands.

On 40 meters however, applying approx. 600-800 watts caused at least two relays to fail instantly. By disconnecting the coils from the relays at strategic points and using clip leads, I found I was able to operate without power constraints. I removed the bias T units (which are no longer needed since the relays are inoperative), and have been using this as my summer season antenna for several years, changing bands with clip leads.

The antenna does perform well and I have worked a lot of DX with it on 40, 30, and 20 meters, so I put up with the manual band change requirements of my hobbled antenna.

Because of the hassles I encountered in obtaining delivery of this antenna in the first place, I did not attempt to obtain replacement parts.
