A Bright RF QUIET LED Shop Light for the shack at a good price.			Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
The light that I would like to review is: Hyper Tough 4 Ft. Led Shop Light 5000 (Lumens) That you can buy from WalMart. I own six of these lights. They make no noise on HF, nor have I had any problems with RF getting into them. They don't hum or make any audible noise...They just work and work well and don't get hot. The 5000k Temperature light is such that the lights don't play games with the colours of resistor bands for one example, and they don't flicker at all. I use them right over the shack itself, over a desk/work area, and right over the test bench with no interference to the scopes and other sensitive equipment located there, either. They just work, and for a good price to both purchase and operate. What more could you ask for? To keep the overhead chains from rattling and swaying around, instead of using the pull chains, I use an On/Off switch located right at the mains plug. That's not a problem with this light, the Pull chains work okay, but I just find that they are annoying to use with ANY overhead light mounted on chains. Plus, I'm sure that they will last longer this way. 73 DE W8LV BILL
