A little pricey, but a very good mag mount. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
What originally attracted me to this mount is the design. It's very low-profile and "cool looking" if that matters to you. It does to me. Wish it didn't...

I used this mag mount with a 55" Comet SBB-7 antenna and it was totally fine, so I would recommend it to anyone.

The magnet is actually much smaller than the
housing, which surprised and worried me until I tried it. The magnet is only maybe 4-5" in diameter, and the plastic casing extends beyond that about an inch. There is also a rubber part that's almost like just the outer rim of a suction cup.

The plastic housing is not flush with the vehicle surface. It kind of floats above it a little.

I thought I was going to have to return this and get one of those 3-magnet setups, but those are pretty serious and I wasn't sure I wanted that
either due to the manufacturers website saying they're super hard to remove. I found myself in a situation where I had no choice but to use this mount, so I opened it up, stuck it on, screwed in the 55" antenna despite the package saying it's not intended for antennas over 50".

Took off on an hour drive going 60-80mph and had no issues at all. It was amazingly easy to remove too. You just lift up on the rubber tab. It helps to have the antenna in when you place it and remove it so you have something to grab on to, but it was no problem to get it off with the antenna unscrewed either. It's almost TOO easy that it's frightening, and I don't know how that thing stays on there so well while also being ridiculously easy to remove. It's actually easier to remove this than some of the smaller mag mounts I have. I guess I just don't fully understand magnetism or aerodynamics!

The cable on this is really great. It's super floppy and flexible, and seems like very high quality. I also like that it's fairly short at 4M/about 13 feet reducing loss and excess slack.
