Superior Control Software Suite Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
It's difficult to say which was more exciting, making my 1st contact back in 1957 or starting up my IC-7300 radio using Win4Icom Suite. Both were thrilling experience.

The software seems flawless and it is loaded with features. I'm using it with my IC-7300, SDR2Pro, WSJT-X, N1MM, MMTTY, GetCW, HRD Logger and DM780. I'm anxious to learn more of the software's features, and to use it in some up coming contests.

My hats off to Tom and the development group for defining and building this impressive, and stable platform. I think they have established a new standard for others to follow.

The Best for Viewing On-Screen and Icom Control !! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
From the website: "Win4IcomSuite is a windows control program for the Icom IC-7100, IC-7300, IC-7600, IC-7610, IC-7700, IC-7800, IC-7850/51 and IC-9700 transceivers supporting Icom’s built in spectrum scopes, the IQ spectrum on the IC-7610 as well as the SDRPlay devices. All functions are provided in an easy to use interface that easily allows control of many options that are hidden in the radio interface."

This program is well worth the purchase. The on-screen waterfall is nicer than Icoms and the rig controls look better.! I'm running an Icom IC-7300.

I have this as well as the Icom software. Win4Icom beats it hands down. Not even close. And it's 1/3 the price! Also, it's easier to set up.

Win4Icom has a 30 day free trial. Try it! You won't be disappointed. Win4Icom and N3FJP logging work well together. I haven't used it with my SDRplaly yet. As smooth as Wiin4Icom runs, I don't expect any problems.

Five Star!!

I do wish it was ported to OSX.

It's True! The Best $50.00 You'll Spend! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Win4Icom was recommended to me this morning on the local 75M Net. I had finally gotten my IC-7300 on the air after several months of delay due to various situations.

I downloaded the program, installed it, connected the 7300 and loved it! It sure didn't take long to decide to purchase it after I saw the results!

The keypad feature is great and the Spectral Display is super!

Be sure to try this, if you own an IC-7300 !!

What can I say? I LOVE IT!!!

Best $50 you will spend for your Icom Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I've owned the Win4K3suite by this same software developer and have used it flawlessly with my Elecraft. When I learned that there was a version for Icom radios and that it now supports the IC-9700, I had to try it out. My review is based on my experience with it and my Icom IC-9700 which I use primarily for satellites. To learn more about all of the other features, I recommend going to the website and looking for the latest user manual and/or feature set.

In summary, this software is amazing! The user interface is full-featured, yet doesn't feel crammed. With your Icom hooked up to a Windows Machine running Win4Icom Suite, you can do many things, including display the Icom's spectrum scope in a window that can be resized / stretched. You can fully control your Icom rig using the program with its well thought out button layouts, but the thing I find most helpful is the "virtual radios" feature. Think of it as it you have multiple radios - one talking to your software logger, one talking to the digital mode software of your choice. And they all work together, seamlessly.

I even was able to use an application on my Mac to control the doppler over a USB to serial port adapter connected to another USB to serial port adapter on the PC (via a null modem connection). Win4Icom Suite's virtual radio allowed that connection to control the radio, from the mac, and makes the radio accessible to applications on the windows PC at the same time (for example N3FJP's AClog.).

And with the VA2FSQ Icom Network Server and Client, you have access to your radio (and the connected apps) from anywhere in the world that has a network connection.

I highly recommend this software, as well as the Win4kSuite if you have Elecraft, or Win4Yaesu if you have yaesu radios.

Check out the software. You can download a fully functioning 30 day trial. Compliments to the software developer.
