Hears as well as my Icom 7300 Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was at friends he had icom 7300 the little G90 heard some stations better than icom 7300 G90has lower noise Phase band noise floor than 7300-
Now you want power buy this amplifier 500 watt touch screen amp just tell him make it at 20 watts input he will also make custom Amp cable so the Amp follows G90 on band changes eb104.ru .
It’s a blast of Hf radio

Excellent QRP Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I always been very exceptic to buy chinesee radios for HF, for VHF,UHF,DMR/FM they are all good but never trusted their radios for HF but I have to say that this new QRP of 20W I purchased from MFJ trough HRO it has surprised me a lot.
When I switched my bazooka antenna from my IC-7610 to this little MFJ G90 (made by Xiegu in China) I was impressed how well the RX works, its very quite and sensitive as much as my Icom radio, with the PS set to 14V I have 25W PEP in SSB and my TX audio is super according all the reports received.
I think is a very good SDR design for just $450 in the US. Its perfect for field day or any outside event and it has enough power to be heard far.
What I like the most is the panadapter with the water fall allowing me to see all stations around my freq and also the builtin antenna tuner is very fast to bring swr down to 1.1
The IF filter can adjusted from the bottom and from the top to tailor your bandwith and been able to reject adjacent QRM close to your freq.
