Great for hotspot use Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Nice compact ht for hotspot use. 2 3600mah batteries is a bonus, as is the mini usb cable for charging and programming.

Not as feature rich as the full sized 380/390 series, but it gets the job done. Impressive battery life running on .5 watts (low power).

Good audio reports and better than expected rx audio from a small unit.

A desktop charger base would be a bonus..all in all good little radio for the money.

Great radio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased this radio not expecting a lot, what's to expect for 79 bucks? However i was pleasantly surprised. This rig is very easy to program, simply download the existing code plug and edit for your needs and you're good to go. This radio is small enough to fit in your shirt pocket. Mine came with two 3600 mAh batteries. Lasting all day is not a problem with one battery so with two you are good for a long time. Charges and programs with a micro USB cable, and the programming software is included. I was receiving signals within just a few minutes of receiving the radio.

The screen is so small it does not display the call and name of the person you're talking to, but I can see that on the pi-star dashboard, so not a big deal.

This is an excellent way to get into DMR without spending a lot of money. Highly recommended.
