Solid speaker for noisy environments. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I use it with the Uniden SDS-200. It is very loud and clear. Built solid and comes with everything you need. It works well for Ham radio.

excellent brand/performer.....as usual Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I own 3. used for vhf/uhf mobile in the shack and 1 mobile in the truck. These speakers sound good, not tinny but just right.long cable, and fantastic build quality.have tried them on hf radio also, and they perform well.

Better than average from a company thats been in the game a long time. Would recommend and or purchase again.good job uniden bearcat

It works as it should! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The Uniden BC-23 is really a great accessory for my scanning needs! It pumps out the sound to audible levels and it sounds pretty good! I'm not sure about the noise-reduction button either but the energy-saving, on/off feature works very well! I own 2 of these speakers and they're well worth the money!

Disappointed Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Uniden claims 15 watts output, I don't think so. Speaker plugged into my KX3 just doesn't sound like a 15-watt output speaker. Also, there's a "noise" filter built into the speaker which I can't tell if its on or off, so worthless IMO.

The audio is clear.

My biggest complaint, the speaker auto shuts off if it doesn't detect input from the receiver in a short amount of time and sometimes it doesn't turn on when I turn up the volume of the KX3....very frustrating and IMO a worthless feature.
