GREAT Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have been on digital modes for many years but I had left my home made interfaces at my normal QTH at RAF Kinloss and was due to fly out to the Falkland islands at short notice. I called Johnny on the land line and not only did he get the interface to me in two days but also supplied me with a completly different set of cable with just a couple of hours notice as I had changed the radio and was due to fly in 48 hours. Johnny's after-sales service is second to none and the interface works perfectly in all modes every time and does not suffer from RF even with 15000 watts near by. I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent product, excellent service. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Having received the ISOTERM MULTICON USB from John G3LIV (the day after I ordered it- hows that for a speedy delivery!)I followed the instructions which were very easy to understand and I was on the air in no time enjoying my first BPSK31! QSO.
John was very hepful in explaining what the product would do having firstly identified the exact product I needed. He was very helpful in e-mail communication and offered a great after sales service should it be needed ( It wasn't in my case). I highly recommend the ISOTERM MULTICOM USB and the service that John provides.

speechless.. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Phoned Johnny on Thursday afternoon, too late for post, Isoterm arrived saturday morning.. plug, play and work over the pond as 20 metres was closing, 40 watts...

I have only used it tonight, to get away from the cqww, but can seriously see me getting hooked.!!

Will be interesting to see psk 31 work portable from rare WAB squares with pile ups.

All in all a great product, VERY well made, Service second to none, and a courteous and friendly manufacturer.
I had attempted to build my own interfaces with no luck, always getting RF in. If you want to try PSK or other digimodes, buy one of G3LIV's Isoterms... you wont be disappointed!!

A versatile data mode interface from G3LIV Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought this about 5 months ago after seeing it mentioned in a qso on 20m RTTY. The info on the web page about the capabilities impressed me, especially as it was cheaper than others which I had been looking at. I have since tried it out on transmit and receive with most of the well known programs, eg Mixw, Multipsk, IZ8BLY's MT63, Stream, etc plus CW type and the excellent Skysweeper Plus program. It appears to work equally well in all modes, including the wider bandwidth modes such as Olivia and MT63. I currently use it with a TS-2000 and have used it with an Ft-857 and Ft-757GX2.

Outstanding Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
An outstanding product in every respect.

The big dealers could learn a lot from Johnny in respect of customer service and MFJ could learn a lot more in respect of build quality.

Brilliant Product - Excellent Service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have used a couple of interface units before and have, at times, experienced some stray RF getting back to the set. The radio to be interfaced to is an IC756PROII.

Firstly Johnnie's service was brilliant,he answered my questions by return email, and he really seemed to want to get me on the air, no question (however trivial) was too much of a problem, which is great.

On receipt of the i/face box, (which took only 5 days from UK to Austalia) connection and the first contact took approx 5 mins. I also noticed that the received signals actually seemed to be clearer, on tx there was no splatter or harmonic interference,(even when tested on higher power 100W). BPSK31, MFSK and CW are not a problem with this unit

The unit is extremely well constructed and even feels well made. It is robust and of a high quality.
The level of his service is such that he emailed me 2 weeks later, asking me if it was all working ok and if I had any problems?

What more can I say, if you have the need to work the digital modes then you really cannot go without one of Johnnies units.

Great for internet gateways Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I wanted an interface for Echolink and eQso so reading these reviews it was the one I wanted. Ordered three and these were received in a couple of days. They were to be used on Yaesu FT7800 and Yaesu FT857, connected the leads which were ordered for the radios. They worked on transmit but not receive.
Many phone calls and emails later (only two days) Johnny resolved the problem by making new leads, as the radios do not have enough drive to run the line in of the soundcard. These leads have now been delivered connected and working. It was not the fault of the interfaces, which are very nicely made and work very well on the data modes, but please phone or email before ordering as it will be dealt with in a very professional and friendly manner. Johnny has a wealth of knowledge and many contacts to sort out any questions you may have.

Excellent piece of kit! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Well, I wish I'd bought one of these a long time ago!

What can I say? Received, plugged in, & in QSO using PSK31 within 2 minutes. I'd never even seen PSK31 in action either.

Johnny's advice prior to purchase, both by email & phone, was excellent.

Delivery was speedy too; also he takes PayPal at no cost to the customer, so no postal delays paying either.

He supplies a good selection of software to get you started too; saves a lot of downloading from the 'Net!

Anybody still unsure about the Isoterm Multicon can be confident that it is straightforward to set up.

In my opinion, it is excellent value for money.
