I live near Austin, Texas; sent Mr Johnny Melvin my check (drawn on a US bank, in USD) on a Monday, and received my ISOTERM 12 days later -- quicker service than I often get from suppliers in Dallas! On Johnny's advice, offered via e-mail after hearing about my intended use of the ISOTERM, I ordered the MultiCon version. This was exactly the right advice for me. I use both my IC-746 and my FT-817 for PSK-31, and the MultiCon makes switching from one rig to another effortless (and quick!), and the simple cabling is a lot neater than the mare's nest of wires I had previously used. As mentioned in other reviews here, the ISOTERM is essentially plug and play. Even if you've never tried a digital mode before, you'll quickly be warbling away with the ISOTERM. The documentation and software Johnny sends along will give you everything you need to get started. The ISOTERM is an elegantly simple answer to the digital interface question, and Johnny himself is a craftsman: the ISOTERM not only works better than the homebrew interface I had constructed, but looks like the piece of professional engineering that it is. I am totally, 100% satisfied with my purchase: on eHam's scale of 0-5, the ISOTERM MultiCon really deserves a 6. I'd add that Johnny himself is a charming man, very knowledgeable and ready to be of assistance. He makes doing business a pleasure, and he's just as available after the sale as before. Highly, highly recommended.

Today I received the G3LIV Isoterm Multicom for my IC-706MkIIG and I was up and running PSK31 on my laptop computer in a few minutes. This unit was wired to use the 13 pin plug on the IC706 and came with all necessary cables and connectors. This interface was constructed using high quality parts and is finished with professional looking packaging. Nice features of this particular model are an external transmit audio drive attenuator knob and the ability to use with any transceiver (with the appropriate interface cable). Other interfaces (e.g., RigBlaster) require a separate power supply. This one does not. A major plus for anyone who has too many wires in their radio setups. Johnny is really nice to do business with. As others have said, he has first-class service and a first class product. I highly recommend this interface. Very prompt service when purchasing an Isoterm SB Data for Icom 756PRO. Was up and running within 5 minutes of unpacking. Very easy to adjust, seems to be extremely well made. In the UK, this represents the best value available. Imported interfaces, though also excellent products, are MUCH more expensive here than in USA.

Just received my dual isoterm from Johnny - wired for IC746pro(IC7400) and Standard C5900. A high standard of construction - pluged it in and works perfectly. Very good and professional service from Johnny. Would certainly recommend him to other hams.

I have been playing about for the last year or so with psk. Saw a dual isoterm on ebay and within 10 minutes of recieving it I was wishing I had bought one from the start. No more feedback or wide signals plus can switch from my ft-847 to my ft-817 very quickly. Highly recommended I have been told that g3liv is very good with help setting up but with his interface help is not really needed it really is plug and play. Have Fun (I am)

this product is very good worked first time a small ajustment on out put level was the only thing needed. My biggest thankyou gos to johnny for his support with after sales.It could not be better as I made a basic mistake but Johnny tried to help THAT IS WHAT I CALL SERVICE.

Placed the order postman delv.. two days after. Very well made-easy to set up-good instructions- back up service 100%,you get no better than this. I change radio often so i went for the Isotherm SB DATA just swap rig cable to unit its so easy.If you demand the best this is the gear for you.

I placed an order for an Isoterm Dual to fit my Yaesu FT-920 and FT-847, Within a couple of days the equipment arrived, Very smart and well finished (OK for us Black Box men). The instructions are plain and simple and it took just minutes to install, I was working DX in less than a week of placing my order. FIRST CLASS SERVICE. FIRST CLASS PRODUCT. In my opinion if you work PSK or SSTV there is no other product to match it for Performance, Finish, Simplicity or Price. de M0TNG
