Superb Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I originally bought a psk interface for my FT857 in about 2006. It was up and worning within minutes.

Changed rigs in 2007, and got an isoterm multicon. Again up and running within minutes.

Moved to ZL in 2008, lost the paperwork in the move. Phone call to Jonny and he could not have been more helpful.

The unit is in operation most days, and I have enjoyed PSK, RTTY,SSTV and the odd Olivia contact all over the world.

It just sits there, does its stuff, and has never given a moments trouble.

Top rate item

Great Product, Fantastic Support Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I've recently bought my second interface from Johnny and had problems setting it up with a new laptop. The problem turned out to be a fault with the laptop, not with the interface.

I e-mailed Johnny several times trying to get to the root of the problem and he always replied promptly with suggestions - nothing was too much trouble for him. He even posted a replacement cable to me in case that was the problem.

Not only is the product first class, but the service that you get from Johnny is second to none.

If you're looking for an interface, you cannot do better than go to G3LIV.

Thanks Johnny - you're a star.

Having never dabbled with digital modes before, I looked at the reviews on this web-site and came across G3LIV's range.
The comments of others are fully justified - not only is the product superb, but Johnnie is an example of how businesses should be run. He replies almost instantly to any query and nothing is too much trouble for him.
Buy from G3LIV and you won't regret it.
Thanks Johhnie - you're a real gent.

works very well Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
As a newcomer to digi modes I bought an Isoterm multicon. I had problems with the PC crashing and Johnny suggested the problem was the drivers for the USB - serial lead. I reloaded them and works perfectly now. Great service.

Having been through a SignaLink (no FSK) and a Buxcom Rascal (unbelievable humm) controller I took a chance on one of Johnny's Multimode's. Could not have been happier.
This thing is the brick outhouse of digital controllers. I am so happy with it I forget it is there. It just works. I do RTTY contesting and PSK31 ragchewing and it is flawless in operation.

I had a ground loop hum problem with a BuxCom Rascal. Talked to Johnny about it. He had me take some measurements to check isolation and it seemed everything should be OK. I ordered the unit anyway. Johnny REALLY goes out of his way to help. Received the unit today, plugged everything in and what do you know....no ground loop hum on SSB with the Isoterm connected. Works perfectly with everyone of my programs with no changes. This is a wonderful little interface. Can't wait for my first RTTY contest to see how it does.

WHY CAN'T ALL SUPPLIERS BE LIKE JOHNNY Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
A request for advice by e-mail came by return. Purchased via Paypal on Friday at 18.00 hrs, the terminal arrived at 10.00 on the Monday.

Instructions with well engineered and complete package (including all cables) allowed me to set up the terminal in a matter of minutes and first ever PSK31 followed soon after. Following Johnny's advice explored WSPR and am now enjoying seeing how far my low power transmissions can reach on 30m band.

If you are looking for a terminal, try Johnny first. Quality is excellent, advice is prompt and helpful and he knows what he is talking about. A real gentleman.

Thank you Johnny. (PS. I have never met Johnny before).

Works very well Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have been using the G3LIV Multicom Isoterm USB for a few weeks now and can report that it works very well indeed.
I initally contacted Johnny Melvin G3LIVby email for advice on leads etc.
I ordered the Multicon Isoterm on a Friday morning and it arrived the next day,it would be difficult to have faster delivery!
The item came well packed complete with the leads to fit my FT450 and a driver disk and a disk containing various software packages including the PSK program that I was interested in, Dgipan, and a comprehensive set of instructions.
G3LIV suggests that you load the drivers first and then Digipan, as its a program that he is experienced with and should you encounter problems it is then easyer for him to help you. He also sugests reading the instrutions, this seemed like good advice and a route I decided to follow. I connected the interface to the data port on the back of the FT 450 connected the marked lead to the microphone socket and the other lead to headphone socket on my laptop and finally plugged in the remaing USB Lead. I then had to go into degipan set up the com port, mine was number 7 then go to the waterfall drive set the sound card sliders and finaly set the transmit drive. I am pleased to report that following the set of instrctions that G3LIV supplies everything just works as it should and after setting up the macros to my liking I was soon enjoying making PSK31 QSO's around Europe and into North Africa, Iceland etc
I am not a computer wizzkid or a PSK31 Expert but even so I just folowed the instructions and eveything just worked as it should

To Sum up a good simple to set up product that just works and Johnny Melvin G3LIV is also very helpfull with advice

A great product from a great person Time Owned: more than 12 months.
It's more than a year now i'm using the "Isoterm Multicon USB" interface and i'm totally satisfied with its performaces. The "marriage" with my IC-7000 (and FT-817 too) is flawless and i've never faced any problem as regards to the settings and/or lack of signal and/or other unpleasant hassles.
Pre/post sales service managed by Johnny is outstanding for the simple reason that Johnny himself is "outstandig" : you will always get a suggestion and a skilled advice and you will always have a real proof of his patience and willingness. As far as I am concerned, even now, i'm often pleased to ask him its valuable opinion about some technical questions regarding ham radio world.

Brilliant! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After 20 years away from Ham radio, I found my way back this July, and then came across PSK. After playing with all sorts of home made interfaces, G3LIV USB Isoterm just made it so easy. An excellent piece of kit, and when I had some problems of my own making, Johnny was there to talk me through. Excellent customer service and highly recommended
