Had good potential Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
My regular shop PS gives me a 'current fault' indication if it hasn't been used in a while. While I was looking for a replacement on eBay, I ran across this unit. It can supply 0-60 VDC at 0-5 A and has both Constant Current and Constant Voltage features.

I purchased one and it arrived in the original Chinese factory box which had well made foam inserts. No damage to the box.
When I removed the PS from the box, it was dead as a rock. Nothing. I looked in through the fan opening and saw something yellow flopping around.
I contacted the seller who said to see if it could be fixed and if so, he would refund most of my $.
Upon opening the PS, I must say I was very impressed with the parts and the construction. Unfortunately, the 'yellow thing' that was flopping around, was a LARGE toroid/choke. One leg was broken at the PCB.
Alas, after repair, the PS 'almost' works. The fan powers up, briefly. The digits indicate some voltage but drop as the caps discharge. Knobs do nothing.

I relayed this info to the seller and got a complete refund and they did not want the PS back.

This is a serious MFG defect. All the other equipment I've seen with chokes (even much smaller than this one) are usually attached to the PCB with some kind of quality adhesive. The mass of this choke was too great to withstand any shipping shock.

Since this 'experience', I've noticed that this brand is 'out of stock' everywhere. There was a companion PS for 0-30 VDC and 0-10A.
So, while I indicated the unit is 'NOT IN PRODUCTION', I'm unsure of it's status.

I have since ordered both from a different MFG.
We'll see...….
