Description:
The Kenwood LF-30A is a low pass filter designed to suppress harmonics and prevent TVI (television interferance). It has a cutoff frequency of 30 MHz, but passes RF from 1.9 to 28 MHz with little attenuation. Attenuation is more than 90 dB between 90 and 300 MHz. Maximum input power is 1000 watts PEP. Insertion loss is less than 0.5 dB at 30 MHz. Input and output impedance is 50 ohms. SO239 input and output. 9.6 x 1.97 x 1.57 inches. 1.2 lbs.

an assett for the shack Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought one of these 10 years ago. installed it in my shack to alleviate any issues. I scored it for 40 dollars,and felt it was well worth the price/performance.ive taken it offline from the coax,and did notice some/little rf getting into a few items......decided to re-install,and problem was gone. these were once a standard in the hamshack,and to me, they are still valuable to have inline for the price. I highly recommend a lowpass filter on a budget
