Review Summary For : Pro Antennas I-Pro Traveller
Reviews: 2MSRP: Pounds Sterling 312
Description:
The I-Pro Traveller is a centre fed vertical dipole - a smaller version of the I-Pro Home that is truly portable. This antenna does not need an ATU: Matching for HF bands between 20m and 10m is provided by patching leads on the built in loading coil. An optional centre section allows for operation at 30m and 40m if required.
Product is in production

It works Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought this to use along side my Ampro whips (Hamsticks) when out mobile. The Ampro whips work better for both TX/RX so i guess I bought this for the wrong reasons. Great if you are operating fully portable with no vehicle but I did hope it would out perform a £22 mobile whip.

Cons:
1. It's miles too expensive, Especially if you want 40/30m.
2.Can't keep up with a Hamstick.

Pros:
Easy to setup.
Easy to tune.

Operating Portable Has Never Been So Much Fun! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I am delighted with the I-Pro-Traveller. Since receiving it about two weeks ago I have taken it on three POTA activations, using it with an Elecraft KX2 and a Hardrock 50 amplifier, running CW at about 50 watts. Lots of contacts on all points of the compass throughout North America, and also a few Europeans. (An op in Finland said I was over 599.) So far I have used the antenna on 17, 20, 30 and 40 meters, with SWR below 1.5 on all bands and no ATU required. (Having an antenna analyzer with you is handy for adjusting the lower capacity-hat arms to set the resonance point at the appropriate frequency.) Assembly and dis-assembly in the field are a breeze and the included carry-bag is a great touch. The base with four adjustable legs is solid. I have already had one experience of using the antenna in a fairly stiff breeze without guying. The antenna ships with a center section wired for 20, 17, 15 and 10 meters. I also purchased the optional center section for 30 and 40 meters. One small complaint: the spring-loaded pins that lock the tube sections in place are a little dodgy -- they can be difficult to snap in and snap out. But I am very happy with this antenna.
