duo art Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought a duo art for fdm duo radio I had a lot of problems with this from the day I bought it, when I bought it I couldn't get it to work with the fdm duo radio it turned out that I had to update the radio which is not quite simply and after about 1 year something strange happened duo art I just got a lot of errors and high swr, so I contacted the company I had bought it from who in turn contacted elad for repair and consultation elad contacted me and wanted me to running a lot of tests which I did this took a long time 2 months there were many tests which I sent answers to and then they concluded that there was a fault with the duo art I sent it then for repair it took a long long time before I got it back, when I got it back from repp it didn't work it was completely dead so I contacted the company I bought it from who in turn contacted elad, from elad I was told to open duo art and see if all cables were connected and none of the cables were connected ( then I started to wonder a little about elad, what service they have) I then tested duo art against a dummilode and everything seemed ok, but then one day later I connected it to my antenna and then the tuner in duo art didn't work as it should so I took I contacted the company that I bought duo art from, who contacted elad again and elad said that there must be a fault with my antenna, it wasn't, I even made a new antenna, new coax, but the result was the same, duo art didn't work as it should and then elad came again with a lot of tests that I had to carry out with a lot of different settings on the radio and duo art. and finally wrote back to me and said he couldn't tell what was wrong and I could send it for repair if I wanted to and I did I haven't got it back yet so I don't know if it will work as it should but first repair was a warranty job but now they want 215 euros to fix it, I complained about it after it didn't work as it should after the first rep they said it had cost 850 euros to repair it and that I was only reluctant to pay 215 euro I mean I shouldn't pay for this rep as it didn't work when I got it back after the first rep. 850 euros is almost as much as a new one, I think it's strange to choose to repair it for so much money without contacting the owner, after all the fuss with this elad company I don't trust them anymore and this duo art is not a good amplifier and it is very expensive. and now here they managed to use the wrong address when they sent it back to me

SWR trips on good antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
New unit owned about two weeks. I really like the concept and the constructions seem very solid. However, the unit is unusable at my station. I have a very well matched (1.15:1 or better) 20m antenna that works well with my IC-7300 and TS-590S, both with and without the internal tuners, but the ART triggers its HI SWR error even after the internal tuner successfully tunes and also on most frequencies in the band with the tuner bypassed. The radio is well grounded. I have learned that I am not the only one having this problem as at least two others reported the issued on a ELAD forum.

I will give Elad support a change to see if they can offer any solutions. Perhaps I have a defective unit or the SWR sensitivity is misprogrammed. If this can be resolved, I will revise my review. For now, if you are considering this amplifier, be sure to get a guarantee that it will work with your antenna.

Elad tried remote troubleshooting, could not fix the problem. The unit is now on its way back to Italy for repair.

Powerful full featured amp Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Purchased a month ago to compliment my ELAD FDM-DUO.
In addition to the analog style power and swr meters displayed on the large LCD, when paired with the FMD-DUO a spectrum display and waterfall is also selectable.

Built in ATU easily matches to my GAP Challenger. The tuning process isn't lightning fast or quiet but since the settings are automatically stored there's no reason to repeat the process once done (unless you get a new antenna).

3 Antenna connections for those with mono/dual band antennas spare you from the coax-swap dance.

The fans are a bit noisy in their default "full on all the time" setting but setting them to "workload" slows and quiets them down while still keeping things cool.

I love that I no longer need an external power supply. It plugs directly into the wall and with 2 sets of PowerPole outputs on the back- supplies power to my FDM-DUO and matching SP-1 Speaker.

With the "generic" connections supplied it's not limited to being used with an ELAD rig.
