Description:
The RFzero™ is a multi-purpose GPS controlled RF unit. It can be used as a beacon (IBP, SPB, CW, FST4, FST4W, FT4, FT8, JS8, JT9, ModeX, PI4, WSPR, …), signal generator, VFO, QO-100 dual LO, low cost GPSDO e.g. for 10 MHz, IC-9700 LO and sequencer or … Furthermore, is the RFzero™ an Arduino compatible platform. So it is possible for you to write or modify the software yourself. More than 30 programs, Arduino sketches, are integrated into the Arduino IDE. With the RFzero Manager you don’t even have know anything about Arduino to use the RFzero™. The frequency range is from 2289 Hz to close to 300 MHz or use the harmonics to e.g. do WSPR on 23 cm. Comes ready to use and may be customized with LEDs and LCD/TFT display. At the same time 28 I/O pins are available and eight of those are via an ULN2803A power driver. The programming and configuration are done via the USB port, thus no extra hardware programmer is needed. The RFzero™ has been developed for radio amateurs, RF enthusiasts and everyone else who wants to extend their Arduino skills in combination with RF. The RFzero™ board is largely compatible with the Arduino Zero and Arduino M0+ boards. However, it has been carefully designed for flexible use in RF applications and with attention to the frequency spectrum and stability performance. Many users say that the RFzero™ is the best Si5351A RF solution available.

Great product! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
The RFzero is a cool product. I have been using the RFzero for some time now, so far mostly as WSPR Beacon operating on all bands from 630 to 6 meters, TX'ing twice per hour on each band with output limited to approx. 10 mW! My signals have been received over most of the World from Scandinavia (using my alternative call 5P9R). Checkout www.wsprnet.org :-)

The RFzero has replaced my old QRPlabs U3S, which were too unstable to work satisfactory and were not able to run all the bands successively. RFzero really outperforms the QRPlabs on most parameters - except the RF output, which is lower on the RFzero. The RFzero is rock stable - and always spot on the frequency.

It takes one minute only to download other applications to play with if needed.

RFzero rocks and is definitely recommended! :-)
