A very refined tool! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I owned the RigExpert AA-55 Zoom w/bluetooth for several years and it was an excellent device. Batteries lasted a long time. It just didn't cover the UHF/VHF frequencies and was rather large to add to the pack for POTA and camping. That's the only downside I found, and I build a lot of antennas. The Stick Pro takes care of the issues for me. Small, accurate and up to 600mhz. The battery last's quite a long time. I was concerned that I couldn't see the multi frequency swr display that the larger analyzers have but it really hasn't been an issue. A very bright display, even in direct sunlight. The ONLY thing I would like is a PL-259 type of connector so I can keep the cap on it. This analyzer is not inexpensive, but you REALLY get what you pay for. A really good investment.

State of the Art portable antenna analyzer. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I've owned a RigExpert AA-230 (not the Zoom) for years and used it a lot. A friend had one of these at Field Day and I was impressed by it. It's a lot smaller, has a color display, runs on a standard replaceable 18650 Lithium Ion battery, and connects to PCs via USB and to smart phones via BT-LE. I also can analyze 70cm antennas now.

The only issue I had with my AA-230 was the need to replace the rechargeable battery pack. I found a compatible pack online, and opening the outer case was easy. So, I fixed it, but it'll be a lot easier with the 18650 battery in this model.

The newer AntScope2 program for the PC works well, and configuration both via USB serial and BTLE is seamlessly easy. Now, off to sell my trusty AA-230!

Great Analyzer Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I am really enjoying the Stick Pro. I was lucky to get one and so glad I did. Nice with bluetooth I use it with my IPhone and IPad. Great for field use. Low battery drain. Another winner product by RigExpert. You can't go wrong.

top quality isntrument Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I really like this analyzer.

It is small and self-contained. It will fit in your pocket or hang on a lanyard. Solid feeling but not impervious to damage.

It does all the usual things you need to do to analyze an antenna. It produces the results quickly and practically.

VERY EASY to understand and use, and from what I have seen its results are trustworthy. I have compared the readings with the much more expensive and highly rated Array Solutions units and the measurements are comparable.

In short this is an instrument you will know how to use and be able to trust the results. How important is that.

It has a wide range of coverage and will do HF as well as the VHF/UHF ranges commonly used in amateur service.

The price is reasonable given the quality and range of functions. You can cheaper units but can you trust them?

Like I said I really like this instrument.

The handiest tool you'll ever own! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I've used professional VNA's at work, and here at home I've used the NanoVNA and the MINI-1300. The Stick Pro is a way more polished product than the latter two devices. It uses 16-bit D/A conversion, which will produce a smother graph than devices with a small number of bits. It covers the HF/VHF/UHF ranges - so you can use it for most everything. The form factor is extremely handy. The display is very bright. It can display graphs as well as values. If a larger/more-detailed graph than the built-in display is capable of than the unit can be used with a PC or a Smartphone using the RigExpert's AntScope program. On a Smartphone no cable is needed - it can connect using Bluetooth Low Energy mode (BLE). It can give give SWR/Freq charts, Smith Charts, XL/XC/Z SWR, it has a mode for tuning 1/4 stubs, a fault locator (TDR) and more stuff. This is just about everything you'd need for checking and tuning an amateur antenna system with a very accurate VNA, without it being a beast to carry - the form factor is just too handy. Lastly, I don't find the small display to be a detraction - when tuning an antenna you are generally interested in simple view where you can see where you are shifting an antenna's resonance, and this is perfect for that.

Love this antenna analyzer Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
So...back into ham radio after many years absent and picked this analyzer out to get going on my station.
I have really enjoyed using this analyzer so far.

Stand alone, it can give a quick analysis of your antenna system. I have used this 'in the field' tuning a 2m/6m yagi. It was very easy to use.
With the Antenna Scope software, it opens up many more options. using it, the USB cable and a laptop, the analyzer is still isolated from ground and can provide impedance, phase, swr and smith chart plots as well as TDR functionality. It is a little pricey, but I think the ease of use both stand alone and with the AS software really makes this analyzer fun to use.
I have only briefly used a less expensive 2 port VNA, but I have to say, this will be hard to beat. It doesn't have all the functions of a 2 port VNA and is not billed as one, but it is easy to use as all tools should be.

Probably the best analyzer for in the field Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just bought the analyzer to replace an older RigExpert to be able to analyze UHF antennas. I hadn't read the description so I was a bit amazed about the features. This is why I love it so much:

1. It's small but loaded with features

2. The display is great in sunlight

3. You can just let it scan for about 10 seconds and it will tell you on which HAM band you can use the antenna and what the vswr is on those bands.

4. You can scroll through bands manually and see a graph of each HAM band and the point with lowest vswr.

5. You can connect it to your phone and see everything on a bigger screen without a connecting cable in between. You can get graphs and data and save them for later use.

6. It's small. Yes, that was the first positive point but this thing fits in your pocket and is not as large as the larger RigExpert analyzers. And yet, it works great. This thing will go to every fieldday, mostly because it's so small and fits in my gear.

Aren't there any negative sides? Sure.

1. It has no protective cover, so you will end up damaging in. A silicone cover would be nice.

2. Ofcourse it has a N-type connector but HAMs usually use PL-type when on HF. An adapter comes with the analyzer but when fitted on top, the protective cover doesn't fit anymore and there is no way to store the adapter anywhere.

Well, that's not too much of a problem so I still give it 5 stars.

If I can recommend an analyzer, this would be it. Even if you don't use UHF, it is amazing due to size, bluetooth and bright display.
