Needs some features implemented Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
After waiting several months for this unit and putting this auto tuner into operation I found out the touch screen is not implemented ! Yes it is advertised on the Flex webpage as a touch screen but after calling Flex and also talking to the folks at 4O3A who actually build this tuner I was told yes it has a touch screen but it has not been implemented. Inquiring why they really didn't have a answer but said hopefully in future updates perhaps it will be. Soooooooooo this is like buying a new car and yes it has an engine but no it doesn't run. Basically I was told to take 2 aspirins, a full glass of water and go to bed . Not good for a tuner costing over $2000.00. Outside of the above it seems to function but if you wish to change antenna ports you have to have a Windows computer to control this feature.

Works great! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
UPDATE START -- I recently updated the software to V1.1.8 which implemented the PTT OUT control while tuning.

This allows me to leave my amplifier on when tuning and the new feature drops the PTT out so the amp does not kick in during tuning. Work great. -- UPDATE END

I'm using the TGXL 1X3 tuner with a Flex 6700 radio and Prometheus DX2400 Solid State amp. The amp outputs the legal limit (1,500 watts) and the tuner is rated to handle 2,000 watts) The tuner communicates with the 6700 via the network for frequency data and PTT. Setup and initial testing took about an hour.

It matches all my antennas (yagi, quad, vertical) on 80-10 meters very well.

Once you have tuned a frequency the solution is saved. When you change bands on the radio, the tuner senses your new frequency and is ready almost instantly. (uses relays rather than servo controlled inductors and capacitors).

The display app works well and you have all the relevant information on your PC screen. It is just the right size and very easy to read. There is also a display screen on the tuner but in my case the app is better since it is on the PC screen with my other radio software.

Great tuner solution for my shack... Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
10 minutes from box to QSO. I unpacked the tuner - connected the cables - downloaded a firmware update and installed the Windows utility. I have a Flex 6600M and PGXL Amplifier - all are connected via LAN. I will be connecting my ICOM soon. Once the tuner finds a solution - it stores it. When switching bands the tuner follows instantly (for all practical purposes) to the last antenna used on that band. It works well with my Hex-Beam, OCF 80 and 6M Moxon. I retired my Palstar HF-AUTO. And the accuracy of the meter on the tuner allows me to also retire my LP-100A.

So, if you need a tuner that will match an antenna with a SWR of up to 10:1 - allow remote operation - interface with any radio or amp - handle 2000W - and provide a Windows utility that gives you full control of the tuner - wait no longer.

Outstanding Auto Antenna Tuner Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have had the 1X3 Tuner Genius (1 Radio to one of 3 Antenns TGXL) for a few weeks now. I found the Utility Program very easy to load and set up. Previously the station used Palstar HF-Auto and that too is a good tuner. What I have found is the easy of programing the Auto Selection of the Antennas within the Utility Program. TGXL once attached to the LAN and Powered Up the Tuner was available for selection. Tuner follows the Flex 6700 and the actual Tuner Function is fast..... real fast Purchasing the Flex Tuner Genius will give you one great and robust Tuner..... Enjoy!
