Overpriced, overrated and totally underwhelming! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
What a poor product. Claims to be a one and all solution, no more costly interfaces and is instead so limited and overpriced its not even funny anymore. Want to use your trusted radios for satellites? Guess what it's not supported. Only 2 Icom radios! What a disappointment and limitation! No support for Kenwood (eg, TS-2000) or Yaesu (eg FT847) radios. Any ERC-M computer interface and SatPC32 runs circles around this underwhelming box and is far less expensive! My recommendation, stay away!

Outstanding device for Amateur Radio Satellites Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have an ICOM IC-9700 and was looking for a device to control doppler tracking for LEO satellites. I came across the S.A.T. when searching YouTube. Watching the videos, I was amazed on everything I was seeing, so I purchased one. It connected the S.A.T. to my IC-9700 with one simple provided cable, didn't have to do any complex programming to it or my IC-9700 to get it working. The device operates my IC-9700 perfect, makes doppler tracking as if I was on 20 meters. I took my station to the next level and purchase a Yaesu G5500 rotator and the M2 LEO 2m/70cm antennas. The S.A.T. connected right up to the G5500, also with the provided cable, and it controls the antennas DEAD ON! No fancy difficult configurations. The built in HTTP provides outstanding map graphics which allow you to visually see exactly what is going on in real time. The S.A.T. makes satellite operation perfect, better than the old school of trying to configure Windows software drives on you PC. To use S.A.T., All you need is any web browser on you PC. I would say if you wanted to get into satellite tracking with an IC-9700, the S.A.T. makes configuration and operation "CB EXTRA CLASS SIMPLE!!!"

one of the bes accessories ever Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This little black box is one of the best accessories ever bought in my nearly 50 years ham time. it support the sat operation in such a very simple and supportive way. nothing to add to all the great reviews. I want to mention the excellent support from the team at any time, even during weekend they answer questions raised in the dedicated facebook groop.
Updates work very well; did 3 or 4 in the time... no problem

Within 5 minutes this little do-dad in, I Heard Satellites. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Within 5 minutes of plugging this little do-dad in, I was hearing Satellites. Within 8 minutes I was talking and making QSO's with it.
This makes my life so much easier than I thought it would be. Now for the rotor and Yagi's and I will be in like flint.
I got my Tech in April and my General in August. I am so new I am still questioning everything like an inquisitive puppy trying to find a treasure in the back of your closet.
From day 1 Satellite communication intrigued me greatly. At first, I sweated over programming my HD1 to use with a Yagi (Arrow II) Antenna in my driveway. I made a couple of contacts with FM Birds namely AO-91. But as you know, FM birds are a pain with the pileups. So I searched for a better way. I came across Sean Kutzko and learned a lot about tracking and listening to Sats. I downloaded and paid for all kinds of apps on the iPhone and Android, all fell short and did not agree on frequencies and timing. I went to seminars about it in Huntsville and listened to AMSAT of which I am a lifetime member. Nothing got me there. Then someone on FB suggested I check out CSNTechnoloigies.net and this little box. I never drempt it could be so easy.
I thought this would be so expensive and was doubtful if it was everything it was cracked up to be.
Only $189. What? Yes, only $189. You can not buy it at that price. So after a zoom call with a few of the developers and owners (who I found out knew my buddy here in Florida.) I was impressed and bought it. When it came I was expecting a giant book manual. There wasn't any. So I winged it. Hooked it up and boom ran it from my iPhone through a browser and amazingly that took 5 minutes and I heard people on the birds. It already was controlling my radio and tuning into the birds.
If you like Satellites and want the best way to get on them quickly, this is what you need. Also, the IC-9700 is a great way to do this but not the only way. Watch Sean's videos on YouTube and also DX Engineering on their youtube channel.

BTW the first contact in Long Island I got? One of the developers of this wonderful device. Frank Garaffolo WA2NDV. 5 Stars+++++++

Fantastic C!ontroller Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have had one of these controllers for several months. It works fantastic! The web browser interface instead of USB port eliminates com port conflicts. With the browser interface you can use any device. Phone, tablet, computer. I used my phone to control the rotors when I set up the antennas to observe the antennas and control lines to check for binding while I was standing at the antennas. Absolutely plug and play. It does a fantastic job of controlling Doppler correction on both uplink and downlink. I frequently have contacts tell me how well I am tracking Doppler shift.
Customer support is superior. No waiting for days to hear back if you have a difficulty. Customer support always responds within a few hours.
You cannot beat this controller.

Easiest satellite operation you can ask for, period. Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I picked up one of these last May for the upcoming Field Day. After years of futzing with SatPC32 and MacDoppler, this was the easiest way to control the antennas and radio. I used a 9700 and a Portable Rotation rotor system. At that time, I had to still use PSTRotator for the antenna control. But after a single post to the support site, the developers started a project to use the UDP interface of PSTRotator. So now I can control my Alfa-Spid rotators and the Portable Rotation system. Basically, any rotor that PSTRotator can control is now controllable by the S.A.T. The support and responsiveness of the developers is second-to-none. Simplify your satellite operations and get one as soon as you can.

The S.A.T. unit is hands-down the best I've ever had Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This product is a small form-factor one stop shop.

S.A.T. (Self-contained Antenna Tracker) from CSN Technologies.

I'm currently using S.A.T and it is hands down, the most complete system for Tracking (Radio & Antenna) with a full Satellite list with automatic or on-demand updates; and that's not all, these folks have bundled this in an awesome User-Interface. I'm really surprised that AMSAT has not had this product in their magazine or on their website.

If you're tired of fidgeting with all your loose ends to make a decent Satellite contact, take a moment to check this out http://www.csntechnologies.net/sat .

I've used two other major options on the market and the S.A.T. unit is hands-down the best I've ever had.

An invaluable station aid and easy to set up Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The customer support has been exceptional and modified as appropriate to my personal skill set. The device was very easy to set up and get working with my IC-9700 and Yaesu G-5500 rotor.

AWESOME SATELLITE TRACKER Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Been playing with it getting used to using it totally awesome as you can go out in the field with no internet needed just update the TLE's before heading out and you are all set. Great price for a great satellite tracker that controls your rotor and radio. I use the IC9700 radio with the Yaesu G-5500 satellite rotator. If you like to chase the satellites look no further this is the one to have.
So simple all you need is the tracker, radio, and antenna setup, and have a blast

One device does it all Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I have been using this device for a few months now during its development. It is now shipping.
It has certainly improved my operation. I started out with two radios and a manual rotator.
This has made quite a difference and sometimes it feels like cheating ! :) Now I can actually enjoy
a QSO on the linear sats or chase Grids on the FM sats. No more Doppler tuning. While tuning up or down the transponder looking for a contact the
transmit frequency follows you perfectly, no whistling,cw dits or yelling test 123 LOL !!! Others on the sat
will certainly appreciate that.

Nothing else is needed. Just plug directly into your IC-9700 and G-5500 rotator with the supplied cables and add power.
Thats it ! No other interfaces are needed. I use a web browser from my Android phone or my IPAD or my PC.

Finally there is ONE device that can do it all.
