Great Power Supply Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought to retire a +30 year old Astron 35m. I have looked at the receive spectrum on 80M - 6M and have not heard or seen any RFI lines. My K3S fan cycles on 90W 6M FT8 transmissions after several minutes, but not the Samlex fan, or at least I have not heard it. The light weight of this supply allows better placement on the bench with shorter supply lines resulting in slightly less voltage drop and lower current delivered to my K3S. I will be ordering another one of these for my son and grandson. FWIW, I purchased two new Astron 35M supplies a few years ago and one was DOA and the other died in less than two years. This is why I was looking at other manufacturers.

****** UPDATE
15-20 minutes of continuous FT8 and the fan finally came on. It is impressively noisy for such a tiny fan, but it does the job and cycles off in a minute or so. Contemplating setting the power supply on a laptop cooler to see if that will minimize fan running.

Works great Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I use this on my Flex 6400 with no issues. The output voltage holds at full load of the 6400. There is no discernable RFI from this switcher. Its light, well metered and well protected. I do not find the fan noise is not objectionable.

Great Power Supply Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased this PS to use in my RV. I has since moved to the home shack. This unit is quiet, provides all the power that I need. It's running an IC-7300 and a VHF rig. No issues. It's small footprint is a plus and the ventilation on the sides and the fan in the back makes for easy placement on the desk. It is also incredibly light for compared to my Astron. BTW, I am getting another for the RV. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this to replace an Astron RS-35A. The Astron was the 1st PS I bought many years ago.

excellent brand/performer.....as usual Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
bought one of these to power a hf radio, and 3 vhf radios. ive had alot of different brands od p.s,but the samlex has proven to be reliable,rf quiet everywhere, and has a 3 year warranty! beat that! the backlighting on the meters can be shut off or on,and the meters are very accurate thus far.cannot hear the fan ,as i have it sitting on my top shelf. this is a good performer,i highly recomend!
