Excellent device for mobile Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Bought in Feb '21 and still runs great. I've used it with a Yaesu FTM-300 mobile and an Icom IC-V86 ht. It packs a lot into such a small device. I mostly just use it with APRS.fi but it has so much additional potential.

Although the device is rugged having survived many days in the car the cables seem to be the weak point. The ht cable broke with use and the mobile one was accidentally broken.

Unfortunately, discontinued now having been replaced with the TNC4. Although with some new enhancements; USB-C being one. It's nice they kept the same radio connector so all the cables will work with the new model.

Works great in mobile Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Charges off of usb in the truck (which only supports 500ma) and it turns off when truck is off so not to run the battery down in the tnc. Runs with 857D fine and android app. One point is with my android phone do not put it in power saving mode. The tnx will put out clicks and strange Audio. Still very happy.

Nice option for HTs that don't offer APRS Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have used my TNC with both of my Yaesu HTs. I love the APRSdroid app that works with this unit. I have had issues with the 3.5mm plug connector tripping the PPT in my HTs but that is not a unique problem with this unit and has nothing to do with the TNC itself. I have a Heil headphone/mic that has the same issue. It has to do with the fit of the male plug into the female port.

Nice Product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Works wells with my Icom 208H and Wouxun KG-UV3D for APRS work. Next step is to use this TNC for Winlink.
