Good sound from cheap mic Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had a heck of a time finding a cheap pushbutton electret mic and finally stumbled on the kit sold by Pacific Antenna.

Kit super easy to build and sounds really good with my Elecraft KX3 and Chinese QRp radio....just what I was looking for. The kit manual is first rate.

My only complaint, the 6mm pushbutton switch provided doesn't really fit in the blue tube and I broke mine trying to get the circuit board pushed into the blue tube. I was able to find 6mm pushbutton switches on Amazon and replaced the original switch with one that fit better.

Its cheap and works! By the way, Pacific Antenna is a great company and always responses to any of my questions/requests.
