| Great tuner, well thought out, supurb support |
Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. |
I have owned the tuner for two days now. Works as advertised. I had some cockpit errors at first but worked through those with the help of KM3KM support staff. BTW, they do answer their emails and very quickly too. I have been using a Palstar AT-AUTO which I feel is a good tuner. I wanted to try this one and find it to do everything as claimed. Touch screen is nice. Tunes my non-ham band frequencies as well as the Palstar. It is in my operating position as I type this.
Thanks KM3KM Team

| I've been running the Mercury III amp kit for just about a year now and am just so impressed with the amp, that when I saw the Mercury AT coming, I just knew I had to have one. Well it was sure worth the wait. I was using a LDG AT-1000 Pro and was mostly satisfied. That is until I started using my Mercury AT. Holy smokes. I won't repeat what everyone else has said other than "ditto". I only have positive reports. I did see where someone added a switch to the power cord to stop the fan while not in use. I have found this not necessary by just touching the SLEEP on the touch screen and all goes to sleep, including the fan. The AT will wake right up when you start a tune. If you're thinking about getting a tuner, think no more, get the Mercury AT!! |

| Excellent tuner! Seamless with Mercury IIIS Amp |
Time Owned: 3 to 6 months. |
Kenny (KM3KM) has done it again!
An outstanding product, with exemplary customer service!
I teamed the AT up with my Mercury amp a few months ago, it is a smoothly operating pair.
Of course, it will work with other amps.
The product form, fit and operational characteristics are typical to this product line.
Another market differentiator for Kenny is his outstanding customer care and service.
You will love his products and doing business with him!

| Great addition to the shack! |
Time Owned: more than 12 months. |
Hooked the tuner up to a icom ic 7610 transceiver and after a brief read of the quick start instructions I was up and running after tuning the rig and after a quick press of the tune button, a few clicks and pops of the internal relays and then was transmitting.
The display gives good feedback of what the status is operates smooth and crisp. The display gives feedback of frequency, SWR, power out, bar graph of frequency and SWR, and antenna selection. . The tuner quickly tunes up once the relays are set for the band and remembers the settings for that frequency. There is an included 12 VDC power cable to connect to your station power supply to provide juice to the tuner.

| Latched on to an AT and installed it today and it first of all was extremely well packed Never seen such a neatly done package. Hooked it up to an FTDX-10 and tuned to 5 bands in less than 30 seconds and that is without the interface cable. Will wire one up and see how that works overall. More to follow Have a Palstar HF Auto and it is great but this little box takes the top spot over LDG, and even the Elecraft KAT 500 Seeing the quality and instant gratification makes me want to order the amp next! |

| KM3KM & MERCURY Excel! |
Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. |
| I have a PALSTAR AT and it is a great tuner. It is made to handle 1.8KW and handles 1.5KW with great ease. The MERCURY IIIS AT is not apples to apples - but for 1.2KW (I personally believe it is under rated) - when running at that output, it is tremendous. It is designed to match perfectly with the MERCURY IIIS Amplifier - and is fully automatic (When used with the correct interface cable.) It tops the PALSTAR in many ways. First, it is utterly gorgeous - no one wants to look at an ugly piece of equipment. Second, it is shockingly small and light weight. Third, the color panel and the options it provides are unsurpassed. Fourth, unlike the PALSTAR, it is not sensitive to RF (When connecting 3 separate antennas to any piece of equipment, you will get some RF.) The PALSTAR does great, but there have been a few times when I had to turn it off/on in order to change antennas. I could go on and on, but you get the point. My antennas are all balanced (3 dipoles - 75m Monoband, 40m/75m Fan, SteppIR Urband Beam), other than my Array Solutions OCF that serves as my emergency backup and is not used often. The MERCURY has far exceeded my expectations; it has tuned all 3 dipoles with ease. It is rated at 3:1 and under, but so far, it has tuned anything I have attempted to tune (I have not exceeded 4:1, but it handles that fine). Tuning is super fast - using any of the Dipoles. It is quiet and when using it with my ICOM 7300 and the interface cable, it truly - fully automatic. It has inputs for 3 antennas, memories galore, etc. Performance is stellar. If someone has a MERCURY IIIS Amplifier, and needs a tuner, I cannot imagine not purchasing this tuner; they are the perfect pair. Furthermore, if someone is in need of a tuner rated at 1.2KW, this tuner is a no-brainer purchase. They sale for $795 and have been "On Sale" at times for $695. I have no idea how MERCURY can build such a quality product at such a low price point. Final assessment: a definite 5 Star, "GREAT" rating! |

| A very handy and quality built tuner |
Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. |
| I was lucky enough to catch it on sale on 9/3/22. I'm glad I did as its all that has been promised. Remember to buy the interface cable that goes along with it so that it is fully automatic tuning. Well thought out software, even the screen goes blank if you havent used it for a while. Touch the screen to bring it back on. Tuning is lightning quick on my 40-10 meter inverted V and my Cobweb antenna. Operation is mostly silent save for the cooling fan in the rear that is present but quiet enough. I'm powering it with a 5 Amp Pyramid supply but it only requires 1.5 amps. It reads the power out and SWR in realtime as you QSO on SSB. I just love it and wish I had bought one a long time ago. No more twisting knobs! |

| Antenna auto-tuning at an affordable price! |
Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. |
| Quality, performance, price gets my 5+ stars. I bought it to replace my PalStar AT2KD. The MercuryAT works extremely well with my TS-590SG and Acom 1000 into an OCFD antenna for 80m-6m. I'm amazed at how fast, even in the manual mode, how quickly (typically 1 or 2 seconds) the tuner finds the best match. I particularly like the tuner's compact size and small footprint on my operating desk. I am eagerly looking forward to hearing from the folks at KM3KM Electronics that my order for a Mercury III amplifer is in production and ready to ship. |

| EXCELLENT match for the MERCURYIIIS amplifier |
Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. |
I've had the MERC-AT in line for a few weeks. Slick little tuner. All my antennas are simple dipoles fed with coax, here is what I've seen so far. On my 160/75 fan dipole, the sweet spot (1:1) is around 1.940 and normally gives me only 30kHz +/- for under 2:1, with the tuner, I can go down to 1.870 (maybe lower, didn't try), or up to 1.960 and it's tuned in 3 seconds. The 160/75 fan dipole will tune on 20M and 15M and my 40/20 fan dipole will now work the entire phone portion of either band, tunes in 2 seconds. Granted, I'm not trying to match extreme SWRs (but probably around 4:1 at least on the upper part of 75M phone), basically just trying to match to the band edges with my dipoles, but this is all I need, and the MERC-AT is working very well. Nice little companion to my MERCIIIS amplifiers (one for each FLEX radio). The only adjustment I made was to add a 12V DC line on/off switch to turn the tuner off (it's plugged into a DC power strip which is always on), so the internal fan does not run all the time.
I've had other auto-tuners, such as the PALSTAR AT-AUTO and the HF AUTO. The MERC-AT is much faster, as would be expected, than either of those. Although for matching extreme SWRs, or running full legal limit, the PALSTARs will no doubt do much better, just not needed for my application. |

| A very beautiful tuner matching the Mercury III amplifier |
Time Owned: 0 to 3 months. |
First off, thanks to Kenny for another great product from his lineup of beautiful equipment!! I was also a fortunate by landing one of these beauties Saturday morning just after 9am. Pretty exciting!! As always shipping was fast and packed to the hilt for safe delivery!
I have the Mercury III amplifier,( that i put together ) driven by a Icom Pro 3 feeding a 80 meter OCF antenna. This tuner is a perfect fit for my setup!! It not only matches the Mercury III, it also works in harmony with the Pro 3 just as advertised and described on his web site. As Kenny would say, read the manual ahead of time, then plug and play!! It is really that simple!! The tuner is fast and lowers the SWR across the bands very effectively. The worst SWR on my OCF antenna is around 2:1 on some portions of the 80 and 40 meter bands. The tuner knocks it down to 1:1 in about 2 seconds or less in a very quiet fashion. I have had tuners in the past that are loud and clunky. On this one the relays are hardly noticeable.
Also, when I tune the higher SWR portion, the rest of the band width is usually stays around 1:1 with out having to re-tune. That really makes it nice when jumping around on the band and not having to re-tune. But if need be, it's just a quick press of a button and away you go.
With the Icom interface, only the tune button is used on the tuner and everything else is automatic. it's a really slick set up! This is the first day on the air so I will be back for a update as the tuner proves itself over time!! Thanks again to Kenny and the beta testers for making his dreams, ( and ours ) come true!! God bless the USA!!! |
