After spending numerous hours thinking about and finally designing my QSL card, specifically not to look like a typical QSL card, I needed to have it printed. The card (visible under my call sign on this site) is comprised of numerous actual photographs and type face, shadowed, layered, beveled, color corrected, etc., etc. in Photoshop. So, with all the time I spent setting up the front and back (as complex as the front), I sent it off to be printed by another shop in Europe. Needless to say, the results were completely unsatisfactory, even though their ?poof? looked like my card (proof was sent via email to be viewed on my monitor). Unfortunately, the deep rich coloring, gloss finish, shadows, etc., etc., all disappeared.
Step in the QSL SHOP:
Undaunted, I contacted the QSL shop, mailed an actual print out of the graphics on high gloss paper and a copy of the Photoshop file. Now all you need to do is email them and trust their judgment, but I already spent over $100.00 US on printing 1500 cards which looked terrible, so I erred on the side of caution. Needless to say, the QSL SHOP delivered 1000 cards that look as good as the image I have posted on this site. The GLOSS finish is real gloss, the color saturation and contrast is as I had set up in the file, excellent. The rear of the card also contains photographic images, all on a black background, all type faces (extremely small) are in white. Though the blacks could be blacker, the reproduction and crispness of the small type and photographs are also excellent.
So in conclusion, I will never ?hunt? for another printer again, and I recommend you do not waist your time on such futile efforts. Just set up what ever graphics you wish, tell them how you want your card to look and they will deliver. So now, as a professional, I have no hesitation sending out my QSL cards to DX contacts through out the world, knowing that the images and reproduction reflect a level of professionalism and thoroughness typically not found in QSL card printing.

| It is ironic that the best QSL cards I could find were half a world away. The QSL Shop has a super website which makes selecting and ordering cards very easy. There is a huge variety of stock digital photo images which allow the customer to order what is in essence a custom QSL card. The service, communications and delivery time are excellent. | I recently received 5,000 QSLs which were made from a slide that I mailed to QSLSHOP in Germany. They did some cropping per my specifications, lightened the image a bit, and set the text for the reverse of the card. I'm delighted with the result, a heavy-stock photo card at a price that I was very pleased with: $295, including shipping. Very responsive via e-mail, fully aware of the status of my order whenever I asked. Shipment arrived as scheduled, in a heavy box to avoid damage to the cards. |

| I recently got the bright idea to have a piece of artwork "recreated" into a QSL card. The picture shows a guy falling off the gutters of his home...an occurance that happened to me in August, 2000 with permanently crippling effects. With my somewhat unusual sense of humor, I decided this world make a unique QSL card. At any rate, I mailed the original art to Sabine at QSLCARD and she has patiently spent over a month with emails back and forth to get things "just right." Her patience and professionalism has been just great. These folks are a real pleasure to work with and deserve a big "well done" for their efforts. Couldn't be happier with their timeliness and helpfulness. Unconditionally recommended!!!! |

| Even though it's outside the US, doing business with QSL-SHOP was painless as possible. They were able to send me proofs via e-mail, and even sent a few via airmail envelope so I could see them before the large box made its way to the states! the quality of the cards is 99.9% excellent (there were one or 2 with flaws in the varnish). While not the absolute cheapest cards, they are well worth the money. |

I just received two different shipments of photo QSLs from QSLSHOP, with a total of 5000 cards. The work was SUPERB -- uniformly excellent quality at a reasonable price. After a bad experience with VI-CON (see my review), I was ecstatic to find that there is a printer out there who does high-quality work, responds promptly to inquiries, etc. I highly recommend QSLSHOP, and will not hesitate to use them for future work.

The QSLSHOP is terrific!! I ordered 1000 qsl cards from the QSLSHOP and to be honest I was a little nervous about ordering cards from another country.I ordered a image from the digital stock and the cards turned out to be fantastic. The quality is the best ive ever seen and they had the cards to me in 4 weeks. They also sent 4 cards and a note telling me when the package left Berlin and how many days it would take. They have done a outstanding job and I will definately be ordering all of my cards from them in the future!

| I just received 1000 great QSL's from The QSLSHOP. I submitted my own graphic design via the internet (jpg file) and they printed to my exact specs. Very good quality card stock, fantastic color separation, good turn around time (about 3 weeks) and very reasonably priced: $120 for 1000. The way I'm going through these cards, I'll be placing another order very soon. |

| High quality cards at good prices. I submitted a photo electronically along with a custom back. The turnaround time for an e-mailed check copy was next day. After the proofs were approved, the QSLSHOP kept me informed of print status and expected shipment date. An airmail letter arrived containing 5 of my new cards, shipping information for the other 3995 :-) cards, along with a note thanking me for my business.
