Marty is "the real deal" Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Have known Marty for a long time (prior to his starting
Sullaway Technical Services) and have always found him to be capable competent knowledgeable and honest.
He is able to find and diagnose a problem (with my
rotating tower the issues were broken limit switch,
tower turning motor not functioning properly, gear box
broken...). Once the problem was found Marty was able to source new parts (some not obviously available from the usual sources) and install and test. I would recommend Marty without hesitation.

Very professional and reasonably priced antenna installation Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I hired Sullaway Systems for a complex antenna installation: two stacked c31XR JKs and one JK 404C on a single 90' Rohn 45 tower. After building the tower with a star guy bracket at 80', Marty and his helper Quincy set up a tram and got all 400 lbs of antenna in place without a hitch. Marty knows what he's doing, and his prices are very fair. He won't overcharge you.

Thinks before taking action Time Owned: more than 12 months.
NN1C lives nearby (Boston MetroWest), so it was easy for him to come over and work on a tower that had been endangered by a tree falling on a guy wire. I was impressed that he was so careful -- installing temporary guys before disassembling the damaged guy wire. After the replacement guy wire was in place, he stayed to make sure the tower was truly vertical (not tilted). If required, he shows up with his own helper, which can be very useful. His rates are standard, and he delivers full value for the cost of a project. But the best thing is that he plans out, in advance, the parts and tools that will be necessary for the job.
