What a fantastic little CW radio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Was lucky to get one of these from the November 2023 batch. They sell out fast when they appear for sale.

Brilliant little radio, performance is excellent, it's very nicely made and customer service is always there if you have any questions.

Very happy with purchase.

Great Rig for QRP/P, SOTA, Travel, - etc Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I gave the MTR4B V2.3 the highest rating. Sometimes I enjoy taking a break from my SDR big rigs, their screens, computers, macros and menus - and getting back to basics with a simple QRP/P rig, whether in my shack, back yard or outdoors.

The MTR4B V2.3 receiver seems quieter than some other QRP/P transceivers, and signals seem to jump out. I like the 600-Hz sidetone and audio filtering - no listening fatigue! It will operate for a long time on battery power, should battery weight and size be a concern. There is no volume control on this spartan radio, so I used a Koss VC-20 volume control in the Phones jack and Koss Spark Plug earbuds (ordered form Koss online)... these worked for me.

When I had a slight issue with my '4B, LNR answered my questions and we resolved the issue by email.

The LNR Precision MTR4B V2.3 covers the 80, 40, 30 and 20-meter CW bands. In a future version, I'd really like to see the addition of 60 and 17 meters.

The MTR4B V2.3 is produced in the United States, so you know that: It is not a chinajunk copy of someones intellectual property; It will work; It has documentation; Customer service is available.

LNR Precision produces these rigs in batches, so it might be wise to check their online store frequently.
