Description:
Bushcomm Horizon 6.7 Compact Non-Resonant Dipoles Bushcomm Horizon 6.7 Compact Non-Resonant Dipoles are compact all aluminum self-supported dipole antennas specifically designed for "Limited-Small space" applications. Designed for use with an antenna tuner, each element is fitted with an M5 stud and wing nut to enable easy feed wire connection. The central bracket has two U bolts to allow attachment to a 50mm (1-7/8 in.) OD mast. Radiating elements are manufactured from telescoping 25mm and 22mm diameter "drawn," not extruded, aluminum tubing. This makes them flexible and extremely resilient to high winds and bird landings. The width of the assembled antenna is only 6.8 meters (22.31 ft.). They are configured to operate in a frequency range of 3-54 MHz with the aid of a manual/auto tuner. Ultimate band coverage is subject to the functional range of your antenna tuner. If not using a remote mast-mounted tuner, then an RF choke or balun should be used at the antenna to limit RFI.

Great light weight compact antenna for 10m-80m Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The bushcomm 6.7m rotatable dipole I have a small city lot in Yellowknife NT and there are not many options for me I could string a wire antenna up but found it for the XYL not visually appealing with 3-4 poles up 30-40ft so I found the Bushcomm 6.7m rotatable dipole on DX Engineering it was a good price in my opinion. So I said why not this would require one mast and I put the antenna up in a temporary spot in the heart of winter warm day -30c it’s in a fixed position at the moment around 35ft up. I wasn’t expecting much my application is a 4:1 Balun at the antenna and a manual tuner in the shack. I have used it for about a month works incredible on 10m and have contacts on 20m and 40m so far and as the year goes on I will test it more and see how it stacks up over the long term. Its one amazing solution to a small space and looks good in the air and it works better then expected for such a compact antenna. once place in permanent location with a rotator I will test it further i wanted to get down to two antennas in yard and this spring thanks to the bushcomm that will be accomplished on one tower and the XYL will be happy with that happy wife happy Ham 73's all.
