| Description: The SFP-102 from TNØ7 Engineering is a 32 foot green fiberglass mast with built-in resonating element and Impedance Matching Device. It's in use at RV parks, as a stealth antenna in HOA situations, and in POTA operations as it collapses down to 4 ft. and can easily be stored in the trunk of a car. It can also be used with a trailer hitch, a drive-on mount, or in a semi-permanent installation with radials. TNØ7 has had great success with or without radials in POTA applications due to a 35' extension (wire) that attaches to a point made for this at the top of the mast. This extension wire can be run as an inverted V, or as a sloper. Essentially, the antenna is fairly omnidirectional, but it can gain directionality with the additional wire at top, and with radials at the bottom. TNØ7 sells a variety of mounts and accessories for this antenna, such as Drive-On or Trailer hitch mounts, extension wires and more. Requires 30-45 minute initial setup time and after some experience, POTA deployment and tear down can be done in as little as 10-15 minutes, depending upon the number of radials. | |||
