Clean presentation, easy to use! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Yes, it really is a Windows program. It just looks like DOS. The clear presentation comes from using PowerBasic's Console Compiler to create a consise easy to read main screen without loading your CPU down with 'pretty' features that add little or nothing to the job at hand.

I use Win-EQF for both DXing and contesting. It does not have all the features that some contest programs have, but it does all of the required logging for all of the contests I've used it on. It does a superb job of exchanging log information with LoTW and other logging programs as well as providing the information necessary for you to write your own programs to access the log information -- which I have done to help with QSLing.

Support? EXCELLANT!!!

Better than ever............ Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Adopted this logging programme when working as 9G1BJ when it was introduced in the early 1990's and commenced life as Log-EQF, using this call sign I logged over 120000 contacts without a hitch, but was sad to learn that eventually Tom would no longer have the time to continue to support this great product. However, thanks to Torkel - LA6VJA, and John - K1XN, Win-EQF* is working better than ever, you will not be disappointed with this excellent logging programme complete with exceptional support supplied by Torkel. Good luck all, 73's, John GM6TVR / GM6TVR/4S7 / GM0FQV / GM0FQV/A61 / 9G1BJ / A92HB

The only logger I use Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Win-EQF has been around a long time and I've been with it since the DOS Log-EQF days. I tried several loggers when I thought Win-EQF would no longer be supported. Then Torkel (LA6VJA) took it over and I abandoned my search for a new logging program. Torkel is every bit as good as Tom was with his customers; and Tom was *very* good. Torkel has also make many fixes and improvements to the software. If you may be in the market for a new logging program give this one a try. There's a trial available.

Ordered 2.# Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've been using v1.94 for many years now and decided it was time to upgrade. The new owner has a good deal for upgrades, so took advantage.

Have used Win-EQF for 10 years and never had any issues. Nice GOLIST and LOTW support. All the major contests.

Happy its back! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I had been using WinEqf for more than 10 years, when we got word that Tom was giving it up. I was really disappointed, but resigned. Then, by chance, I found out that a new owner had picked it up, made some mods and was marketing it again. The new owner should have let us old users know! I just bought and downloaded the updated version. This is great!

I hope that Win-EQF stays around. I have been using it for 10-12 yrs, and, though I have tried a few others, none gave me such satisfaction. No other program is as intuitive, comprehensive and flexible as Win-EQF, in my opinion. Earlier this year, WinEQF was crashing my computer when using rig control. I thought I had a beef, but the support was great. The real problem was the RadioShack USB/Serial adapter, which I started using with the new computer. After junking out the RadioShack fraud, no problem whatsoever. I think Tom and John do a great job!

It's Back with Full Support! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've used Win-EQF and it's DOS predecessors for many years with great functionality. I was very upset to hear that Tom was moving on and that the program was orphaned. However, it is back with continuing support and future updates. I was more than happy to purchase the new version after so many years of free updates (I constantly chided Tom for all of his freebies). This is still the best program for me with very little computer resource necessary. Yes, it is still a Windows console program but you really do no need anything beyond this. Many, many features and functions and very stable. Thanks to LA6VJA for picking up the program!

Good to see its back Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Its good to see that Win-EQF is back. Log-EQF & Win-EQF served me well for many years before I decided to move on to another logging program a couple of years ago. If you need a straight forward logging program with little chance of overloading you, Win-EQF is the way to go.

Fantastic Time Owned: N.A.
Our club, Limerick Radio Club have used Win-EQF* for the last couple of months. Firstly on portable event days and it was highly praised by all operators including op's who don't use computer logging. We took part in the recent CQWW SSB contest and clocked up 1108 Qso's and have to say I can't fault this software at all. This software, while on the surface, is very easy to use especially in pile ups, I'm quite sure there's a lot of work gone into its development. This software is a great asset to our club and will be used by us for all future events.

GREAT Time Owned: more than 12 months.
There are many fine logging programs available for our great hobby. I have tried many of them over the years beginning with Ham Windows in the early 90’s. I eventually settled in on LogEQF in the mid 90’s and have stuck with Tom and his fine software ever since. Tom provided excellent customer support. He even wrote a routine to convert my Ham Windows logs to EQF.

I was devastated when I heard that Tom would no longer support the software. I again began my search for a replacement logging program but found nothing that work as well, for me, as did Win EQF. I was very pleased to find that Torkel, LA6VJA was going to continue to develop and support the new version of WinEQF*.

This is the best logging software I have tried and the users group on Google is great.
