Outstanding A+ Five Stars Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Like every other ham, I have been through countless logging programs and always found problems of one sort or another. This program was suggested by a friend, N4RFC, as the ideal software with ease of use and "it does everything" you would want it to do. He was right.

Of all of the programs out there, THIS is the best, easiest to use, "do everything" without a screen full of fluff & needless menus. It works with LoTW, ClubLog, eQSL, and does labels. Not only does QRZ pop up, but if the station has his QSL card in QRZ, you have it on your screen. You can import your data from the "other stuff" you have been using for years with ease and error free. Help is there if you need it, but you won't. It is simple, easy, priced right, and does everything you need it to do with ease, and does it right.

I can not recommend this program highly enough. If you want the logging program you should have for easy, professional operating, this is the one.

Very Nice Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Here it is in a nutshell.Young or old, new ham or been around the block once or twice. The price is right, and the ease of using it Can't Be Beat. I really liked DX4WIN, HRD is ok too, Logic-- forget it,but the AC Log package has it all over the rest. IF I can learn it in a couple of days , anyone can. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ----Jump right in and really start enjoying a Good logging program.

Adding to the thread here just in case others are switching over to Mac, or are using a Mac and wondering about running ACLog under Parallels.

I began switching our home computers to Macs. I really like OS X, personal preference and not going to get into any PC / OS X wars here.

I used ACLog for several years and really missed it once I switched over to a Mac (I'd give it a 10 out of 5 if they'd let me ). I tried other Mac loggers that were okay, but just not the same as ACLog (which is very simple to use, has more fields than I actually use for logging, seamless integration with LOTW, etc). I also like Scott's other contest programs. Would like to see ACLog uploads to Clublog, similar to the LOTW works within ACLog.

I also wanted to port some other programs. So, I purchased Parallels after reading that folks were able to successfully run ACLog under Parallels.

Here's my setup as of this writing (which is running really well).

- Mac Mini i5, OS X, running Yosemite, 8GB RAM
- Parallels 10
- Windows 8.1 Professional (purchased copy) - will upgrade to Windows 10 when available
- Powered USB Extended HUB (plugged into AC, not just driven off power from USB ports of Mac Mini)
- CAD interface cable (FTDI chip on the USB) which connects to my Yaesu FT-900

Very happy to be using Scott's programs again. As a side note, I run WSJT-X for the Mac, and simply import the "adi" file into ACLog when I'm done.

Two thumbs up Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've been using ACLog for nearly 10 years. I tried a number of other logging programs before and after adapting ACLog and never found any as intuitive to use. And it's gotten better over the years too. Had no problems interfacing to my Icom IC-7600, previous Icoms and other rigs (like TS-590) as well as LoTW. I bought the entire N3FJP package and have used a number of the companion contest logs. Evereything is easy to use. Very happy camper. Some other logging programs left me scratching my head as to why they set them up the way they did. Never scratched my head with ACLog and others. It all made sense from the beginning. Can't beat that.

I don't speak computerese very well but find these contest logging programs easy to install, use and send in contest results with. These programs take all the work out of contest logging -- leaving you more time to spend on operating and making Qs.

I tried a freeware contest logging program. I found it difficult to learn and use and gave up in frustration. N3FJP's programs are well worth their very modest price. I just wish I had found them sooner.

GREAT PROGRAM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have used N3FJP AC Log for years and have used many of his contest logs and they work flawlessly. If there is a problem Scott responds instantly to resolve problems. I highly recommend this logging software.

Best I have used Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This program is fantastic. I was using Win-Eqf but now it is no longer supported. So I started looking for another program that would be true windows based . After looking at several different logging programs I found the N3JFP’s Amateur Contact Log . This was the best. Has all the modules you could ever want. Their customer service is fantastic. I had a problem connecting my Icom7600 to my computer and they answered my email within a day and I was just using the FREE trial 30 day version. Which, by the way, is a full version without the contesting modules. Easy to connect to QRZ. If you have set up the ARRL Logbook Of the World N3JFP Amateur Contact Log makes it really quick to up load your contacts. AC also makes short work of updating your QSO’s from LotW . I haven’t found anything wrong with this program. If I do I will let you know.

upload to LOTW Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have been using AC Log for a few months now. I put several contacts in log and so far I haven't been able to upload my log to LOTW. I like the way the program works but I am not successful with uploading my log, I'm sure it will do it but I haven't figured it out.

Does exactly what you want! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I've been using AC log for general logging for the past 5 months or so, including a lot of DX work and lately ARRL Centennial work. It's simple, straightforward and just plain works. No hidden files anywhere on the Windows machine. Easy interface with my K3, both in setting frequency and mode directly from the DX spotting lists as well as in CW and audio files. Watch lists telling you who and what stations are on, easy logging to LoTW and eQSL and captures QRZ data for the log.
I put 1200 old contacts in the log by hand -- could easily do a hundred or so in an hour -- now I'm totally up to date and have my WAS, DXCC, and CQ WPX certificates.

The contesting software is numerous and is exactly the same interface as the general logging program with easy export to ARRL or CQ or wherever, and import to your main log file. Also a partial call watch lists are available.

Best value for the money on the net! And a strong users group including the authors of the program themselves. What more is there to ask for??

Thanks to Scott and Kimberly!

Simply the Best Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Great easy software to use, it really does what N3FJP says it will do. Top support, quick downloads for upgrades. Logging made simple but effective, great rig support. I have never used a nicer software. N3FJP is one nice guy to deal with. Only logging program I'd recommend or use.

Great support Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using AClog for many years. Today I made a blunder and could not figure out what the simple dumb mistake was. The program was polling my K3 every time I turned the rig on. It seems I downloaded a old version of the K3 configuration which contained the error.

I sent an email to Scott and within 1/2 hour he pointed out that to prevent polling simply select "none" from the list of rigs.

It's this kind of service that makes the program worthwhile. Easy to use, keeps track of DXCC, WAS, always being improved, etc, etc. What else do you need?
