BEST OMNI-H ANTENNA I EVER USED Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Without a doubt this antenna and it's 2m cousin are far superior to any of M2s antennas. Very little SWR change in the rain and it simply WORKS! Light, easy to install & tune. I have a FLAT 1.1 match. Worked Aurora off it earlier in the evening with great results. If you need a horz polorized antenna, this delta loop is it!

Elegant! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This antenna was purchased for my VHF contest rover to lower wind load and get the antenna at the top of the stack. I figured that moving it to the top of the mast would give me better control of SWR and better overall performance. It seems that stations are calling from all directions on 6 and not having to rotate would be a plus. Also, having omni coverage on 6 while driving would be good.

Well, I think I was right on all counts as this antenna performed very well indeed. It is also VERY nicely made. Keep in mind that this antenna is fundamentally different than a standard loop or squalo making it, IMHO, THE choice for an omni antenna.

I am now torn between putting it up on my tower at home in place of my 6M 4-el yagi so that I can put up my FO-12 for 2M. (Can't have both beams up at the same time.)

2 Thumbs Up ! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This antenna simply ROCKS on 6-meters folks! I've made MANY 1000+ mile contacts when the band was open.

Rugged and great Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I put mine up in 1997 and just took it down recently for inspection and maintenance. The little plastic end caps needed replacing after six years in the California sun, but that was all. I put it back up and immediately worked Guatemala, Belize, and Hawaii. Good support from PAR.

Excellent Antenna! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
You can't beat this antenna for 6 Meters, especially if you are looking for a "stealth" antenna for your QTH. Construction is excellent, tuning is a breeze and for $70, it can't be beat. If you want to get on 6 SSB and you do't have much space, this is the ticket to great 6 Meter SSB contacts.

GREAT antenna folks! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've been using the PAR Omni-Angle OA-50 for about two years now from my Northern New York QTH of FN24. I bought one and figured that if it didn't work out, I'm only out $70 and I can always eBay it to the next guy in an attempt to recoup some of my losses. Well, shortly after installation, I jumped on 50.125 and made MANY contacts! Running 100 watts, I've worked about 20 states, Mexico, Europe, and the Carribbean. Hell...I even got 'kicked-off' a so called 'private' Carribbean frequency! This is an absolutely AWESOME antenna folks! Every station I hear I can pretty much talk to. So if you're contemplating six meters, and wanna give it a shot, might I recommend the PAR Omni-Angle OA-50.

Must-have for 6M SSB Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I just finished a brief field-day trial of my loop pair, which I recently side-mounted at 100 feet and 86 feet on my tower. I barely got the lightning arrestor and coax switch installed before this year's field day started.

I was able to work every station I could hear, with my IC746, barefoot. I'm in EN70gd, east-central Indiana, and I worked Ohio, Michigan and all over Indiana in about three hours. If I had more time, I'm sure I'd have worked KY and IL, but I had other things going on. If there'd have been a band opening, I would have cleaned up. I can't wait for the next one.

I got multiple compliments on my signal, even from big-gun stations running multi-element quads and yagis and high power. With a rotor controller down, the loops made the difference between a boring, frustrating time, and a lot of fun. While the other guys were saying, "Wait til I get my beam on you..." I was making contacts and moving on.

The antennas are sturdy and well-made, and Dale Parfitt got back to me almost immediately with every e-mailed question I had.

These loops are inexpensive, especially considering the performance and quality, and easy to install. My next purchase is two for 2M.

Small footprint - big signal Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had my omniangle for about a year and a half now. The antenna is great. It is easy to tune/setup, and does not detune easily in rain like other loops/halos out there. I typically work 150 miles + without propagation enhancements (with 706mkiig, antenna about 30'ish above ground level). The antenna is great for working band openings too. This week I worked Bermuda from FN42. Still trying to figure out a way to put a small beam up, but even when I do I will keep this antenna on the air.
