Best 6M Loop Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
My "ancient" 6M Onmiangle antenna finally needed replacement after 15+ years of excellent service. I e-mailed Dale at PAR and sent the required funds the same day. Less than a week later the antenna showed up. It took me all of 10 mins. to put it together according to factory specs. I put it on the same mount as my "ancient" antenna..up about 30' on the back peak of my house. I run about 35' of RG-213 to my shack and that's it. I turned on my trusty FT-847 and keyed up on 6M. Presto! everything was go..no re-adjustments. The new PAR Onmiangle 6M loop works like a charm...but, then again, I knew it would.

Awesome, but be careful feeding Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I found that the band moves around way too much for a sharp beam and that sometime there's conditions in more than one direction. This antenna works extremely well for all band conditions.

Use caution when feeding with RG-8 or similar diameter coax. Be sure to apply no torque to the connector and/or matching network enclosure. In time, the seams on the plastic enclosure can fail if strain is put on them, letting moisture and insects enter, causing failure. This applies to all the Omniangle antennas.

Doesn't Get Any Better Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Really not much more I can add over other reviews - all is fantastic, from product to service. Buy one!

Great Antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have ordered 6m antennas off the internet - none equal this one! The Par-6m Omniangle is a good looking, well built, functional 6m antenna.

Before I ordered, I emailed Dale at PAR, my email was answered that evening. A few more emails and I placed my order...the antenna arrived in a few days, no problem. Assembly took maybe five minutes.... very easy by following the video posted on Youtube (from the PAR webiste link). The materials are awesome! PAR didn't skimp on anything. It was a joy to mount this antenna outside for all to see...

My PAR 6m omniangle is up at 35ft fed with RG-8X, and it tuned up without a problem using an LDG-200pro tuner. The band was pretty dead - so I didn't hear anybody around 50.125.... but, thats just how 6m works.....

If you are thinking about a 6m loop or halo - consider the PAR OA-50. The materials are great, assembly is straight forward, it looks good, isn't flimsy....(mine tuned up just fine) and customer support is super.

Now if 6m will just open up.... :)

a first rate product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered it on a Thursday afternoon and got it Tuesday. It was packed well and the material making up the antenna was first-rate. It went together quickly with no trouble. I put it together just looking at the picture, but did read the directions to tune it a bit. SWR is great from 50.1 to 50.5.

Can't be true! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I hope that this antenna saved me TIME, WORK and MONEY. No tuning, I just left an inch or so from the tips to the horizontal boom and the SWR was close to 1.1 from 50 to 50.350Mhz, the entire range of the MFJ-9406. Materials seem to me to be premium quality. I just hope it is a CROW-PROOF antenna too.

Great antenna! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I already have a Par Stressed Moxon for 6M and wanted something for running up and down the freeways. Great antenna usual outstanding workmanship of Par Antennas. Will add more OAs for other bands soon.

Excellent Product and Service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I emailed Dale at PAR several questions about the OA-50 prior to purchase. Dale answered all questions promptly. I ordered and he even checked with me a couple days later to make sure I had received my tracking number and went overboard to see that I had my antenna for CQWW VHF.

Only had it mounted at about 12' on a backyard portable tripod, but had great fun on 6M. Heard a couple guys on the band using the same.

Now contemplating getting another one to stack, or maybe the stressed Moxon? Decisions, decisions.

A well earned 5 for PAR.

5 Thumbs Up !!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
In a recent move and major downsize I went from a 6 element Cushcraft Boomer at 75' to a Par OA-50 at maybe 20' on the chimney of my 1 story home in Ohio. Admittedly the Par is no match for the Boomer BUT it's just amazing what I've worked with it and only 100 watts ! All over the USA-including W6 & W7 west coast and lots of Caribbean stations too. I inherited the Par from my dad K3VLQ now a SK and just put it up as a temporary antenna-that was a year ago !
This week I noticed the antenna wasn't working properly so headed up to the roof with my trusty MFJ antenna analyzer. After eliminating a bunch of possibilities and a quick call to Dale W4OP (Mr. Par himself actually answers the phone !) It was determined that there could be a problem with the balun. I'm told this is extremely rare and it doesn't surprise me as most of my technical problems fall into the hens tooth category be it radio, audio or computer.
Dale was kind enough to UPS me out a replacement balun at no cost other than just cover the shipping ! He also sent me a couple emails after hours with some other possible fixes to try as well.
Having been self-employed for over 30 years it's so nice to work with a company like Par and Dale who do business the good old fashioned way. I can't say enough positive things about this whole experience.
