Great MagLoop covering most bands Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have owned a MagLoop from OK2ER for just over a year.
It is a prototype that was created with inspiration from K1FM during the development of the “MLA SMART” and he offered it to me after we had discussed my needs.
The housing and some parts are from the 3D printer and there is no controller, it is tuned by hand. The ring is made of coax, has a diameter of approx. 80cm and can be removed for easier transportation.
The loop is suitable for 80-10m and can take up to 30W. Switching between the three band ranges is done via two jumpers (80-60m, 40-30m, 20-10m).

I know that these types of MagLoops have limitations, but this antenna is my all-in-one solution for indoor and outdoor use.
It is highly recommended for those who cannot operate an outdoor antenna and who want to take it with them for fieldday or portable operation.
I would buy it again straight away – it's worth every penny!

Great magloop! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I've had OK2ER magloop MLA-S (RT/R)for a few weeks.
I am experienced with magloops as I've made a few ones and I have been using some comercial ones for some years, including OK2ER MLA-M QRP version 10W,80-10m,indoors use.
So MLA-S(RT/R) is another one from Olda OK2ER
Made very well, works perfect from 60 to 10m.40Watts is enough for Dxing.EU is formality.
Remotely tuned with integrated rotator.Supply by coax.
It's a big advantage.
Very easy and fast tuning. The control box needs 12V,I use either battery pack or small power supply.
So far a lot of SSB and CW QSOs being portable( tripod),from the roof of my car, balcony and indoors.
No problem to transport the loop.Olda says it is not fully weatherproof. But I havent noticed it.But just in case you can always cover the loop with a plastic foil.
And I must say Olda OK2ER is very, very friendly and reliable guy.Good contact with him.
Update 06.02.24
Thanks to Olda OK2ER my MLA has an extra band 80m
So now this MLA works from 80 - 10m.
Update 15.03.24
At present I use another MLA-S(RT/R), improved and with a totally new controller CB4M UNI with an integrated internal Lion rechargeable battery(an analogue solution based on the idea of the Japanese radio amateur 7N3WVM) which seems to be user friendly. As far as I know,up to now it is the first model with this type of controller.
On higher bands ( 17m and up I can use more power, even 80W).
Up to now I have mainly used this MLA indoors and on balcony( pwr 5 - 80W, SSB/CW) with TT Scout555, IC703, TS480SAT and FT897D.Results are amazing.
Soon more QRV portable as warmer days are coming.

Hope last remarks 17.03

I believe that even an operator unfamiliar with loops will have no difficulty in tuning.
I've played with several other MLA's e.g. MFJ,Alexloop,A100,Cirro Manzoni and a couple of good homemade ones. They all work well.

But this MLA definitely has more pros.It is the only magloop that has everything in one.
At the moment there is no other MLA like it.
- 80-10m bands
-power up to 40-80W which is enough for DX work from all over the world
- rotator
- controller with own power supply
- LED tune-up indicator
- power supply via cable
- weight
- can be used indoors and outdoors (tripod, and can be mounted on a pole with tripod diameter)
- tripod included
- portable, can be easily transported in the boot of any car
- very good price in relation to the possibilities and other MLA which are much more expensive and do not have such possibilities
- solid and aesthetically pleasing design
- works very well SSB, CW and FM, probably also FT8 but I do not use it
- contact with the manufacturer practically 24/7 (tel, email, whatsup) HI (English,Czech,Polish)
