I bought the FX-775 two years ago when I needed to measure the power from the Acom 1000 amplifier. Another reason for the purchase was the large, readable display and attractive appearance. Today I would like to give you feedback on this device. Right at the beginning, the manufacturing labels and pole markings fell off and the rim around the display, which is of course made of paper, is also peeling off. With a device over €600, I would expect that no effort would be made on the glue and that such an important thing would be in order.
Yes, after purchasing this device, calibration is necessary and I was also very dissatisfied that the manufacturer did not provide this important thing.
Today, after two years, I find that every time I turn it on, the date and time information does not work - it gives it as it pleases.
I take the measurements from this device only as informative; in case of a serious malfunction, it will immediately go to the trash.

!!! to review !!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought this device three days ago. Imagine my surprise when I plugged it into my 101MP and the wattmeter reading on the FX-775 showed 280W, with power levels ranging from 240 to 320W across the 11 bands. HI HI!!! Yes, the device is not calibrated at the factory. The wattmeter calibration is not done! Is the SWR calibrated? I no longer trust this product. The distributor Metropwr is really not correct to put products on the market for over 600 € without calibration. I was able to contact the distributor, who just told me to do the calibration myself, probably an oversight by the factory. The explanations are in the manual? For a 600 € device, I have to do the calibration myself? No, Sir... I no longer trust this equipment which did not give me satisfaction. I have requested a refund
