Excellent,,Excellent,,Excellent Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I think my title says it all,,

This antenna is very simple to assemble,,less than 10 minutes once everything is out of the package.

the quality of the antenna is super, the verticles are all solid aluminum, and the craftsmanship is top notch.

on top of all that,,,the antenna works super.

for the price of #39.95 plus shipping,,you caint go wrong with this antenna.

Most Bang for the Buck Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This is a terrific 2m/440 j pole antenna. Assembly time is approximately 1 minute out of the box and it is ready to go. Had this on 15 foot mast and was reaching repeaters approximately 100 miles away. It is now in second story attic due to new house in restricted neighborhood and it works like a champ. SWR at worst has been 1.3.1. Usually flat across the board at 1:1. I would highly recommend this antenna.

BEST VHF/UHF BASE VERTICLE ANTENNA MADE! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This is the easiest, cheapest and strongest base antenna for VHF/UHF. Miracle performance! I have keyed repeaters 100 miles away using 5 watts on 2 meters with the antenna 20 feet up mounted in a roof vent pipe. No ground! If you don't buy this antenna for your base, you are wasting time and money.

I painted mine flat black with $.99 spray paint and it is invisible with the trees behind it. Perfect for those evil homeowner associations and complaining spouses.

Install and forget! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Had mine in service over a year and it is flawless. It's in the attic of our one story house (homeowners association and hurricanes) and works everything my outside vertical 30' up did. Took it down and just use the OSJ for all 2/440. Great SWR out of the box! With the price of copper today, you can't homebrew a J-pole for this price. Going to buy a "jointed" version for my jump kit.

Incredible Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The build is simply, elegant, durable and perfect. SWR is anywhere from 1:1 to 1.4 across the entire 2 meter and 440 bands. You can't go wrong with this antenna. For this price why build a J-pole? This is definitely one of those put it up and forget it antennas. Built to last forever!

Sweet antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just got one today from AES-cleveland.
Took longer to unpack it than build it..
I am very pleased with the quality and packing.

I have it leaning in a corner in the livingroom, with 80' RG8M, until day off work to mount..

Just messing with it, 5 watts gets the local machine and one 14 miles away. Weather stations are copiable on all frequencies.

Can't wait until I get it up 20'...

Very pleased Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Took only three days from the time I ordered it until it arrived. That was from WY to IN. It was so well packaged that it actually took me longer to get it out of the box than it did for me to put it together. Took only a few minutes to assemble and is extremely well made.

I tested it using my Yaesu FT-530 HT by leaning it against my bookcase. I was able to pick up NWS weather radio broadcasts on all seven NWS frequencies, the furthest being in Kankakee, IL about 110 miles away. All local repeaters were full-quieting and one fringe repeater 30 miles away was easy to work with only 1 watt.

We had a very severe line of thunderstorms roll thru while I was testing it and it was fun monitoring all the repeaters from west to east as the storm came thru.

I plan on mounting this in my attic using about 25' of RG8-X and expect the performance to be outstanding. I am also planning on purchasing the Arrow satellite antenna in the near future.

works after years of abuse Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've had mine over 5 years, in multiple locations. It's survived wind, rain, ice and simple neglect with no adverse effects.

It gives me coverage of any repeater that's not blocked by a ridgeline or curve of the Earth.
