excellent quality Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The workmanship and quality are obvious when opening the heavy duty tube it arrives in. The JPole has been around a while so this two band version is simply a new variation with obvious pride in craftsmanship. It's nice to see that a product can be well made at a reasonable price here in the United States. Other US manufacturers (I'm not just talking about ham gear) should take notice and fire off an email to Wyoming to find out how it is done.

Does great in the attic. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Living with CC&Rs wanted something that would fit in the attic. I can hit repeaters over 60 miles away with 5 watts on 2 meter and 440. My first VHF/UHF antenna and probably my last. No interference in the house at all even when running 50 watts.

OUTSTANDING J-POLE Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This antennas is simply incredible. I have talked simplex to stations 40+ miles away on a 5 watt handheld. Connected a 65 Watt mobile to my house and am talking and listening to repeaters 65+ miles away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANY SERIOUS HAM.

Awesome!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Super easy to assemble. I'm reaching repeaters and talking simplex over 25 miles away on a 5 watt Icom IC-V8. Arrow also provided great customer service. I also used Bury-Flex cable, which I highly recommend.

Great antenna! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Easy to assemble. This model is built like a tank. We had it up and running in minutes. While only 20 ft off the ground we often reach repeaters 100+ miles away. Our antenna survived hurricane Rita with 60+ MPH winds. Also Arrow has excellent packing and shipping time. The instructions are easy to read and follow. Packaging is one aspect often overlooked. The shipping container is practically indestructable.

100 Miles with 5 watt Handheld Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
An omni directional antenna up 20 feet and a 5 watt handheld able to hold the repeater (full quieting) approx. 100 miles away. What more can you ask for?

Had it more than 6 months in my Attic and love it. Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Had it more than 6 months in my Attic and love it. Even installed on in my fathers Attic for his radio. Buid like a tank but no extra weight. Just had to move it so it had some clear space around it to get the swr correct but would have to do that with any antenna! Love it. Love to also know each one is made by had with pride and you can not be the price for this quality anywhere!!!

Not as good as expected Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I Got this antenna and hooked it up to my Ht (Kenwood TH-F6A) using RG-8m at about 18 to 20 feet and i didnt get as good of a signal as i thought thet i would. Do I need to go higher?
or is it that I'm using 35 feet of coax?

Not Bad at All... Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This dual bander is really hard to beat, considering its price. It works as expected, just like a vertical dipole on both bands. No tuning, no fuss, no muss - a simple 5 minute assembly and installation job.

The only sticking point is a minor gripe about the quality of the thru-hole, 3/8" x 24 stud to SO-239 adapter. The SO-239 wasn't threaded to close tolerance, or threaded too deep. Therefore, I have to be v e r y careful when mating a UHF connector (PL-239) to it.

Overall value and rating: A solid 4.0.

Less IS more! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
It has been said that sometimes less is more. In the case of this fine product from Arrow, it really rings true! I waited a few months to give it some time to prove itself, before recomending it to anyone else. It is mounted at the end of the house on 20 feet of RS steel TV mast. I am running a Yaesu FT7800 2m/70cm mobile unit, using a power supply. This is the fourth antenna I have tried and it could very well be the last. The performance is better on both bands, that anything else I have tried. The quality of construction, ease of assembly, and ruggedness, makes it a incredible bargain! It has endured a good number of very violent storms, with no damage of any kind. I don't see how anything could possibly hurt it, short of a direct hit from a falling object. Before you waste your money on fancier, more expensive antennas, you ought to check out this model, or any of the other fine products from Arrow. I don't think you will regret it. 73 KB9YNJ
