Excellent Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought one to replace my MFJ switcher that went south. It's heavy but will last forever. Used a 20 amp Astron for years. Astron is the standard.

Its an Astron....Nuff Said. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Recently the switching power supply designed by Icom for my venerable IC-735 developed a terminal hum and lack of regulation. I have been using an Astron RS-20 for over 10 years to power various rigs and items in the shack, so another Astron was a "no brainer". I now have a nice shiny RS-35M powering the 735, and I expect it will also see service to power my 756 Pro III if its Icom-built switching power supply ever fails. Astrons are built like a tank, and my experience indicates that they last and last. If I ever need an additional power supply Astron will be my choice.

Been continuous since 1999, including two moves. Just keeps on ticking!

Great piece of equipment Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had my RS35M for 12-15 years. It has been on 24 hours a day 7 days a week since I bought it except for when I moved 6 years ago to this house. It just keeps on keeping on. Would by another one in a heart beat.

Never Misses a Beat Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have a RS-20M, and now a RS70-M. They are built like tanks, never a problem. Sometimes you buy equipment, and its not right. Thats what happens with electronics. Case in point: The RS70-M is to power my new TE Systems 1452 400watt amp. The amp arrived with a defective transmit/receive relay switch right out of the box. $549 and it is not working. You never know

Keeps going Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've owned my Astron RS-35M now for 12 years. Never stacked anything on top of it. Never moved from its original position. I've accidentally shorted the terminals and it shuts down, as expected, yet it comes back for more; it just keeps on going.

When compared to other linear and switching supplies (with all the issues they bring to the table) for the money spent there is NOTHING better.

I also own an RS-50M. I will not use anything else to power the shack.

Perfect! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had this supply for 10+ years now, it has always worked perfectly.
It's electrically quiet, meets the manufacturers own specifications, in short,
I can't fault it for anything.

can't be beat Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had this rs35m since 90 it has powered many hi current radios and solid state amps with out a problem. If you want a power supply thats dependable and easy on the pocket book this is the one. I would buy another without a thought.

Been thru two of them so far Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Yep. This is the one to own! Bought my first one the day I got my first callsign in 1991. It ran fine till about 1999. When it warmed up, voltage dropped. Before I could figure out what was wrong, the basement flooded, and about 1000 gals of water went thru it. Got my second one after the flood, it was running fine, till about a month ago, again after it is running for about 4 hours, voltage drops off, then to zero. Been thru it a couple of times, cannot find out why. This is only a PS, not a Space Shuttle, can't be that hard. Would I buy another? Yea... nothing better out there.
