Good product-wish it were still in production Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've been working with -1's for 20 years or so and they are good. Programming is not bad; just a little learning curve and help from OEM; guys are great. Only biggi; annoying problem is the ridiculously long password you have to use and it times out about one minute if you don't do anything. What were they thinking ? Terrorist are going to log into the controller at the site? I only wish they were still making this product.

Excelent Product Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have used the RLC1 + and the RLC Club both are excelent products only failure was on the Club and that was due to a lightning strike !
The RLC1plus has been on air for 4 years now with not a single problem.
Steve and Alan are always willing to help and offer advise. In my opinion it is the best repeater controller line on the market !!!!

Great linking Controller Time Owned: more than 12 months.
As the designer of the VOLNET repeater system-a wide area linked system that covered portions of TN, MS, AR, and KY, I purchased and used 7 RLC-1, 2 RLC-4, and one RLC-2 repeater controllers.

We have had one failure of a controller in 10 years and that was attributable to a mouse-not Link-Comm.

I cannot count the number of times I have called Allen or Steve and received GOOD information about a programming issue. They are great people to work with.

The manuals do not have a lot of programming scenarios which makes it difficult for a neophyte controller programmer like myself. However, the controllers are extremely versatile and are perfect for multiple repeater applications on a single site or for linking.

Only mods ever made were to tailor the audio for GE MASTR II repeaters. Swap a few caps and resisitors out and all is well.

Would recommend you purchase their enclosures for the controllers. They too are well built and it does keep out the mice!
