Great Service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using Milton Lord to repair my HF radio and Amplifiers for over 10 years now. I am constantly trading radios, and I can always count on Milton to bail me out when I trade for something that does not work. The first radio he fixed for me was a Kenwood TS440S. The radio was sent to the West Coast for service and was returned not repaired. Milton was able to fix it in less than 2 hours. That was over 10 years ago. Since that time he has repaired my Icom 746, 751A, 765, Ic2KL, Kenwood TS940S, TS850S and others. The last repair was to a Kenwood TL922 amplifier and just like all the others it was professional and quick. I would not send my equipment anywhere else.

Excellent service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
My 10 year old TS50S was away about a week. He fixed the inoperating LS socket on the back (impossible to get at by me!), replaced the Lion battery and realigned it. All at a reasonable price.

Great Service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just had my Kenwood ts-870S checked and realigned. Turn around time was just 4 days and he called me twice about the radio...Radio works fine just like a new one and very satisfied.

Excellent Service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Milton, N4DA, of Ham Radio Repair is a blessing for a newbie like me who has yet to aquire the technical expertise of the hobby. He has repaired my Kenwood 530SP and my Hammarlund HQ-215. His experience with the Kenwood identified a potential problem with the band switch, which I understand is common with the rigs. Milton let me know up front of the probable cost and turned the rigs around fast. Even after I had given my approval for new tubes, he determined the current tubes were fine and didn't stick me with unnecessary repair. He's not cheap, but neither is his work. Good and fast. What more can you ask for?

Excellent to deal with.. Time Owned: N.A.
I recently had my 5 year old FT-1000MP go south on me.I made many inquiries as to someone(besides sending it to Yaesu in California)who could do the repair work here on the east coast.I had many responses but the bulk of them were about Milton Lord who owns and operates Ham Radio Repair down in Cartersville,Ga.I spoke to him on the phone and the next day(Oct.5th)shipped my rig to him.It came back today(Oct.19th)two weeks after I shipped it and works beautifully.Milton does charge a little more per hour but I believe is well worth it.His phone number is 770-966-1166 and he will also do phone consultations. He also works on various brands from older rigs to the latest and greatest. You won't be disappointed..I give him a 5 for quality and turnaround.
