Hi,

I ordred a callsign by email.
Dick quickly answered me that was a new challenge for him and that he will work immediately on my project.
A few weeks later I received in Luxembourg a small parcel post feeling or smelting varnish.
That was my ONL5183 callsign cut (carved) in a piece of oak !

At first sight when I opened the box I though it should be larger but now I appreciate its size, about 20 cm long, maybe 6-7 high and 2 cm wide. I can place it quite easy on my desk or on the RTX. Its base is also well cut and plane.

For the perfectionnist I detected here and there some very very minor errors in the carving what tell me that Dick is not an hebenist, to what he could answer me, surely not for that cheap price ! ;-)
But I have to tell these "errors" are quasi invisible and can be forgotten. So I suspect Dick to have work manually to design this callsign, and it is perfect as it.

No, really you did an excellent job Dick ! Congratulations.

If I should order again ? Surely when I will get my full privilege licence I wrote him.

I ordered my call sign in oak on Monday or Tuesday and it arrived in my mail box on Friday (it only had to travel from Montana to Utah). The workmanship easily exceeds what you would expect from the best custom cabinet makers you might see featured on "Home Time" or "This Old House"--the best design, the best wood, and the best finish. I would recommend Dick's product to any ham who wants a high quality emblem of his or her commitment to Amateur Radio.

Can't think of words positive enough to describe Dick's work. Purchased two callsigns for an friend and myself, and was very impressed with the results.
