Good Bang for the $ Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had experimented with several different interfaces, both homebrew and commercial. I had almost decided to order one of the $200+ units, when I saw the review here on eham. For $40, I figured I couldn't lose.

I ordered the unit on-line Monday at lunch. Much to my surprise, when I arrived home on Thursday, the USPS had left a small package on my doorstep! Talk about fast shipping!!

I had ordered the unit specifically for my Kenwood TS-450S. Hookup was a no-brainer. Five minutes after opening the box, I made my first RTTY contact with it. With the hour or so that I had to play with it, I made several RTTY and PSK31 contacts.

No, this gadget doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the $200 unit, but now I have $160 left to spend on something else! Thanks, Whitey!

Solid Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Quick shipped and it works FB. Not rocket science but without a junk box to dig in I would have spent this much for parts if RS still had any. Simple easy convenient I am ordering one for my other radio.

works fine Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
A PSK interface isn't rocket science, but the interface works great with my TS-570. Combined with a fair price and quick delivery make this a recommended purchase.

Excellent Value Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just bought one of these after reading the reviews. Had major problems with my MFJ-1275 and simply could not get it to work. Plugged the Donner unit in and was up and running within five minutes and made over a dozen contacts. I just ordered another unit for my FT-817.

Excellent! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I wanted a new interface to use with my new rig-A kenwood TS-B2000. I like the idea of going through the accessory jack (West Mountain has great customer service, but they hate that idea). Going through the ACC jack eliminates the need to worry about whether the processor is turned on, or about mic equalization settings. All things you have to worry about with the microphone.

I was also interested in the Buxcomm interface, especially since it would allow the TS2000 to do true FSK, but I also had some questions about each interface, and Buxcomm doesn't have a phone number to allow you to talk with a real person. To me, thats poor customer service. They had a fax and email, but I wanted to ask these questions directly. Donner's had that.

The interface was very reasonable-$46 shipped, and was truely plug and play. Hooked up the 4 plugs, and I was in business. The interface is wired specifically for your model radio, which is nice. It gets the receive audio also from the ACC jack in the back, so I don't have to worry about speaker jacks and volume settings, etc.

Overall, I am very pleased with this product. Good quality, simple installiation, fast shipping via priority mail, I got to talk to a live person before ordering, what more could you want?

Works great Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Worked first time I plugged it in, now having a
ball on the digital modes (radio here is a Yaesu
FT-897).

Compare this to the other units out on the
market. This is the best value. Why buy anything
else ?

More than I bargained for! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Called on Friday, got it on Satuday and it worked the first time I plugged it in. You can't ask for more than that.

Good Product. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have used one on my TS-2000 for over a year now. It was very simple to hook up, using the digital port on the TS-2000, required no adjustments, and has worked flawlessly. Worth the money it sells for.

Simple and well built Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
My first Donner interface was purchased for a FT-817. Fired up Digipan, plugged it in, followed the documentation and was on the air. Elapsed time: 20 min.

Because it is small and simple, I used it for Field Day and worked QRP - PSK31. Lots of contacts. No problems.

I bought another for my IC-706mkII. I could just not get it to work. Gary helped me, sent me a second unit. The interface works fine. My 706 13 pin interface had problems.

I next purchased a unit for my 756proII which also works on my 910H. Plugged it in and was on the air. No problems, no adjustments needed. True KISS engineering.

Excellent Product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Ordered it on Sat., got it on Thursday. Hooked it up in about 15 minutes and after changing a few settings in Hamscope, I was on the air. Great product and great service. Gary Donner took the time to double check my order and if he hadn't, I would have ordered the wrong interface. I really appreciate the extra attention. This is a simple but, effective interface. I also ordered one for my brother and he is having the same positive experience. The instructions included are very clear and complete. I'd buy another one.
