Excellent unit Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Decided to try PSK with my old Icom IC-730 and rather than try to find connection material on my own in this city of limited sources I ordered the SL-1 (You can get all connection wiring for $9.95). Hooked it up and spent several days trying to figure why I had no output. Finally remembered the IC-730 uses an amplified mic, put my QRP watt meter on the rig and determined I had less than 1/2 watt output with sound card settings at Max. The built in attenuation in the unit was my problem. Called Tigertronics and spoke to a very qualified Tech who told me how to bypass for more audio. Worked perfect. Good unit, excellent Tech support, gave me the option of doing mods myself or sending it back in (There is a $10 charge). I soldered 1 jumper and was set. Immediate contacts, excellent reports, fine unit. No ground loop problems with my set-up. PTT works perfect, less wiring than other units. If you have mic audio and Power, all connections are through mic.

Perfect in every way Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I got the SignaLink two days ago for my adventure into PSK31. The box is perfectly small (fits under my radio with the radio stand down), needs no external power (powered off of my radio mic connector), needs no serial port connection, and was easily interfaced to my computer. Instruction manual is more than complete and easy to follow. CD included has nice software but I had already downloaded it.

I have loved my first two days on PSK31 and this cute little device made it an easy mode to adopt.
