Easy to set up, works Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Fast Shipping! Ordered it on Monday. Arrived on Wednesday. Follow the directions for setup exactly as described, took 20 minutes from opening the box to finishing a psk31 QSO. 7 European contacts: 599 x 6, 489 x 1 on 20m, @25 watts. Not much bigger than a deck of cards. After a couple of slight RX audio adjustments on the first contact – never touched it again until I turned it off.

NICE!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I followed the instructions, plugged it in, and was on the air in about 15 minutes with good reports of signal quality.

This is a great product, with a lot of engineering and quality workmanship evident. The documentation and enclosed support & software CD are also very well done.

Highly recommended ..

BUY ONE Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is a great little interface for digital modes. If you order it from Tigertronics they Will sell the interface cables For your paticular radio. There was a 4 week wait as they were behind in production. Not sure if it's still that way. But you can get them from DX Engineering as they Stock them. The unit does have to be configured for your type of rig,but not a big deal. After that load the software, set the sound card levels and the default sound card and your on the air! Have some fun. I would recomend this unit to all. You may want to change the MSRP in the description as it's more than $49.95.See you on PSK-31 20 meters.

Great Product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Ordered from DX Engineering, came in 4 days. Set the jumpers for my SGC 2020, followed the manual for initial setup, and was on the air all in 20 minutes. First two contacts from North Texas were to Maine and Alaska (8 watts). Changed the jumpers and had it connected to my Ten Tec Jupiter in 10 minutes and on the air again. Works exactly as advertised, a great product. My main software is Digital Master 780 but also tested with DigiPan and MixW, worked great with them as well.

Can't get it to work Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Got my SignaLink USB yesterday, got it configured, set it up with digipan and the accessory port on my Ten-Tec Jupiter and called CQ for hours with no response. Sound card is set up properly, transmit lights come on on the SL and the jupiter, monitored output signal, sounds fine. It appears to be putting out, but I'm getting no responses. I switch back to my Rigblaster using the mike connection (yes I remembered to switch the jupiter from Line to Mic in the menu) and get call after call just fine. I go back to the SL and can't reach anyone. I'm real disappointed in it. Will report more here if I get some help getting it working.

Excellant Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Performs as advertised. Easy to configure to whatever rig you've got, software supplied, what more to you want. I was on the air in less than 30 minutes after opening the box. Great product, and no complaints from this end.

Good Value Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The things I like are minimal cables and good interface w/o any noise introduced and the level adjusts on front. The VOX delay is handy for BPSK31 to SSTV transition since there are delays that need to be longer for SSTV mode. The things I don't like are: need to set jumpers to change to different rig, CODEC has a systemic offset in receiver that needs to be corrected, need for separate interface to control rig with PC, sometimes the computer triggers the VOX for some unknown reason - which in general is why I would prefer a PTT

Wow Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is one of the nicest things I've bought for my shack in a long time. It took all of 5 minutes to hook up and boom - it worked fine off the bat. I run digital modes through Kenwood hybrids and this works fine with the microphone cable that came with the interface keying using the PTT.

I had been using a phone patch but there was lots of noise issues with that and the VOX was so sensitive. This has completely quieted things down.

I got mine from DX Engineering and didn't really have long wait at all - either way, it was well worth it for the performance gain.

Granted you can make your own or cobble something together, but the price was well worth it.

Great Product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I wanted to try digital modes so I first bought a Buxcomm interface, which started acting up within a day of it arriving. I sent it back and decided to order the SL-1+ because even though my laptop has a USB port, I had problems related to it with the Buxcomm and decided I didn't want to try another USB device.

When I called I was told there weren't any in stock but Alex(YL) who answered the phone said she'd look into it and call me back. She did call me back a couple of hours later and said there was a 3 week wait, but I decided I was OK with that and ordered one. When I didn't hear anything, I emailed the company and they called me back less than an hour later and told me it was shipping the next day.

It arrived shortly after that and it looked like a nice, well built unit, unlike the Buxcomm. I also ordered the cables to interface it with my Kenwood TS-140S. It wasn't hard to set up and put together, but some adjustments took a little work. I don't know if it was my rig or the SL-1+, but it seems like the audio drive was either much too high or where it should be. I tried adjusting the output and the mic gain and got it right, but it seems like there was a "hair trigger" on the gain. It was probably the rig. Other than that, I had no problems.

The small CDROM comes with alot of software for various digital modes. I'm using Digipan and making PSK31 QSOs all over the U.S., and into Latin America. Hope to start working more exotic stuff soon on PSK31.

I like the fact I don't have to worry about device drivers or using additional resources from the computer(a plus if you have an older machine or are using a non-Windows platform), if the PC has a mic and a speaker jack, connect it up and you're ready to go.

The wait time was long, but it was well worth it as this is a great little unit. The only other recommendation I have is for the audio cables, that they be color coded. I use a laptop for digital modes and sometimes I disconnect it from the rig and take it with me. I used a different cable for the mic jack connection because having a different color cable for each speeds the reconnecting process up when I bring it back to the shack.

Other than that, it's a great product from a great company. Keep up the good work.
