Description:
An extremely well made G5RV type antenna. Kerry (WA2NAN) builds these antennas with excellent materials and very good attention to detail. The center insulator is a really nice piece of work and all the connections are soldered and have heat shrink tubing on them. I am not affiliated at all with WA2NAN but have one of his antennas and it is great.

Great antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have the True-Talk-II, the 6-160M 204' model up about 60'. Good quality build and it works great. I've had it for a couple of years and no problems here in NY with the snow and wind.

Purchased a 102" G5rv from Kerry , what a well built antenna , never seen workmanship like his version he modified it so i can use my own coax , cant wait to put it up , i am sure it will work well

Great antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I live about 25 miles from Kerry. When I got back into ham radio I called him to see if he had any antennas made up and he said yes. After 30 minutes and a 25 mile drive "one way" I had my new antenna. Kerry does great work building these antennas. He's always fun to talk to. Great guy to deal with and a great product.

The best G5RV antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought the 51ft Junior version of the True Talk G5RV. I have contacted from Samoa to Alaska on various bands despite the fact that the antenna height is only 6 meters above the roof and with only 100 watts. It also works very well in FT8, a modality that has given me great satisfaction on several expeditions. The antenna is configured as an inverted V. I am very impressed with the performance of this antenna! Absolutely the best G5RV. Thank you Kerry, WA2NAN, the antenna construction and finish is superb.

Wish I had discovered this antenna a long time ago. Ordered from Kerry and received it in about 3 days. Solid structure. Had it up the next day. SWR with my old DRAKE MN2000 solid under 2.0 on all bands. Had a few questions to ask him and he responded what seemed like almost immediately on GMail!

All I Can Say Is Wow!! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
This antenna is absolutely the REAL DEAL!! With only 35 watts out of my FT-991A, I was able to work someone in Santiago, Chile.

As far as construction goes, the antenna is going to last for the duration. All the connections were sealed up for any kind of weather. The wire portion of the antenna was made with heavy gauge (14AWG) wire that will handle anything I through at it. The dipole center is well made also. The best part is it came with the coax. Not many antennas do that nowadays.

In summary, for the money I paid, it is worth it. If I was the one making them, I'd bring up the price.

Kerry's 102' is up over 55' tuning superbly with a manual tuner on 75, 40, 20, 17 and 15. A solid build holding up without a hitch when raised up high in the Pines. Invisible to the eye in my HOA. Quite a few 'great signal' reports. I wish I'd had a True-Talk years ago! What a confident feeling.

The most difficult part about owning this antenna is being able to loft it high enough and threading the wires through tree branches. But that's it! It's perfect! The build quality is superb and extremely sturdy. I have no reservations about leaving it up in the trees over the winter.

I got the 51 feet Junior version of the True Talk G5RV. Kerry is a pleasure to work with, provides great customer service, and answered all of my emails very quickly. I made contacts as far west as Australia and as far east to the State of Georgia on 20 meters SSB from my location in Northern California using only 100 watts. I was also able to break through some pile ups during 2021 Field Day and make contacts around the US. It also works great on FT8. The antenna is setup as an inverted V with the center only being up about 25 feet high off the ground. I'm very impressed with the performance of this antenna!
