Cannot be beat for the price Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have always considered MFJ as "Mighty fine junk"
But this time,i must reconsider my words.
This little marvel can tune about any wire
on your favorite frequency. My previous tuner,an
Icom AH-4 remote auto-tuner was unable to match
my attic long wire on several bands. The MFJ works
wonderfully with my apartment setup. And for the price,i won't bother trying to find a capacitor
and an inductor.
Well done this time MFJ !

simple, useful Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This very simple device - basically, a standard "L" network with the inductance consisting of a tapped toroid, really will enable you to tune a 30' length of hookup wire on three or more bands. I have noticed some residual heat in the toroid when tuning some high SWR loads - not unusual for this design. A novel but significant use is at the base of a multi-band vertical to optimize the SWR on a preferred band (must be enclosed in a small tupperware box and sealed with tape if left in the weather permanently). Optimum setting can be found easily with a battery-powered "SWR Analyzer". These tuners can be readily obtained at hamfests for between $15 and $25 and are great for antenna experimenters. I have two.
