Review Summary For : WB2REM iLink Interface
Reviews: 5MSRP: 40/kit $55/assembled
Description:
The I-LINK board is used in conjunction with the I-LINK SYSOP Software (http://www.aacnet.net) and ECHOLINK Software (http://www.synergenics.com). When it is hooked up to a radio (mic) (audio out) (ptt), the board and your computer, you are able to remotely access worldwide stations on the ILINK listing. This is done by hitting a 4 digit touchtone access code. Voice responses comes back from the software to tell you whether you have connected or not. Through our interface board you can talk almost any where in the world through your HT on either simplex or on a repeater. It can also be used on a HF radio as well for remote access.

Perfect EchoLink Sysop System Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Running our Echolink node through our linked repeater system. Works perfect each time. Easy to set up and play. DTMF decoder works great. COS from the radio works great.

Great item Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is a great board for getting onto Echolink and EQSO. I've been using mine for about 2 years.
I purchased the fully constructed board, read the directions, hookup was easy and it's been running great.
If you have any troubles or questions Jim WB2REM has excellent support. Every one that I know who has one is more than pleased with this product. I even purchased a second one for another linking project.

A problem solver! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
As with the previous review: shipping is very fast. Documentation is excellant and complete, something not always included in todays interfaces.

Hooked it up per instructions and it was literally "plug and play". Connecting a 2.4g/P4 to ICOM IC-2100H.

Very satisfied with the interface. A true Ham!

Easy to build, Easy to use. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Ordered the board on a Friday, and it arrived on Tuesday (Monday was Memorial day). Took about an hour to build. Works great. I do have a few complaints, though. First of all, it could use a few more status LEDs. All it has is power and activity (all activity tells you is if the board is working with the software). An LED for PTT and DTMF decode would have been nice. Also, when you hit a DTMF 'D' on the radio, the board decodes it as a '0'. Not a big deal but somewhat annoying. The instructions could also use a bit of work. Otherwise, very good. I like the second radio receive to kill the link, too. WB3REM is very good with his customer support also. He checks up on you by email and will answer any question, no matter how dumb, you ask. :-)
