Broadcast quality sound for Ham Radio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought this mike after hearing others on 80 meters who were using it. Their audio had a really extraordinary Broadcast Quality sound. It has an impedance of 160 ohms, so you'll likely need something to match impedance with the rig. I've used both the W2IHY 8 band mixer and the Beringer MXB1002 Mixer. You could also use a transformer. I found the microphone at: Broadcast Supply for $299 :
