By far the best all purpose swr/power meter every made, Way ahead of it's time with cool features .The one I own has 2 5k couples and still looks and works like new. It's a 10 star product !

Accurate... "auto calculating" SWR meter... supports multiple couplers... autoranging 30/300 or 300/3Kw depending on the coupler. Average... Peak... or Peak Hold readings with selectable hold time. Amplifier lock out if certain parameters (reflected power or SWR) exceeded. Lighted dual meters. Solid metal case. Nye doesn't make them anymore but Radiocraft is making a virtual clone with a few improvements. I know what I want for Christmas!

Outstanding unit Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I had one of these a number of years ago and used it with an Amp Supply LK-500NT and a Dentron 3000 tuner. Like an idiot, I sold it shortly after selling the amp.

If you can find one of these units, grab it. The amp lock-out function itself is worth the price.

Too bad they are no longer made.

It's a KEEPER! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Sold my first one a few years ago and missed it. Found another in a hamfest and this baby is staying here! Sensitive meter movements make fine tuning easy. Nicads are 10 years old and fine so far. I love the RF activated lighted meter that dims after a measured time period without RF.
Seems like there is great demand for these as they sell very fast.

I bought this unit in 1992 and wouldn't trade it for anything! It well built and accurate. The dual meters have a back light that is switched by sensed RF. It has peak and peak-hold features. My favorite feature is the removable directional coupler - the meter doesn't get pulled around by the coax. Also has an amplifier lock-out feature.
