Wow! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
In order to accomodate a new radio which operates on these bands I replaced a 2 meter vertical "stacked co-linear" advertised as having 9db gain. Though I have always been happy with the previous monobander, the comparison would be flashlight to searchlight.

The big comparison test was talking to a friend in a nearby town with a ridge between us. To communicate before, I had to open my squelch and then listen through the hash; he never wiggled my S meter. Now, we have each other 1/2 scale on the S meter, and only a small amount of white noise!

Easy to assemble, took me 20 minutes from start to transmit. Obviously VERY well engineered-will last for decades I'm sure.

Great Antenna! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have owned the Comet CX-333 for approximately 4 years. It has performed well in all situations and has withstood the elements including heavy winds quite nicely. It is solidly built and very clean looking and "low profile" only 10.5 feet high making a nice addition to any antenna "Farm".

Great Antenna Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I've had this antenna up for about 6 months now and it works fabulously on 144, 220 and 440 MHz. It replaced a Cushcraft AR-270 and it out performs the AR-270 in both receive & transmit. Also, the materials Comet uses and their machining is superior to that of today's Cushcraft products!

I'm very happy with mine too Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had one of these on my roof for a couple of years now and it works great. It is connected to my Kenwood TM-742A tri-band VHF/UHF rig through a Comet triplexer and this seems to be the perfect multiband base station antenna system. SWR curves are where they should be and the performance on the air is excellent on all three bands; 2M, 220 and 440. Weather has not bothered it at all either.

Great multi-band antenna! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I purchased this antenna to fill my need for a multiband VHF/UHF base antenna with excellent gain, per the suggestion of a local ham. I am not disappointed!! It comes with mounting hardware, and works great with a triplexer! Great gain, I have heard 2m activity that I didn't even know existed before!

I highly recommend this antenna to anyone who is searching for a good 2m/1.25m/70cm base antenna. It stands 10.5 feet high, and is easy to ground.
